But we need options as RS seems focused on pushing his total football agenda whether it is working or not. Cannon is being hung out to dry on the wing. Brooks looks out of form and has been negative in his play.

So who is out there and within our reach? Realistically 1 of the 2 wingers need to be established at this level and a stating 11 player, the other to push Barry.

Agree with you on what we need but I’ve not seen any evidence of ‘total football’ unless that’s the definition of completely unorganised football

Serikis distribution is poor in my opinion, he’s great at powerfully striding past people but I question his ability in tight spaces to find a neat 1:2 or be involved in the more intricate things.

He must mess up simple 5 yard passes 3/4 times every game.

Hes definitely at his best striding out of the wing back position with a bit of space infront of him in my opinion.

It’s worth a try but I certainly think he’s better in space on the overlap. We need a winger that has the ability to find him on the overlap and keep the opposition busy enough to allow him the freedom to do it continuously.
 
I do wonder if Tom Watson is available on loan from Brighton? Don't know if he's injured but he's not featured yet for Brighton.
 
Mee, Tango, CM and CF - no further development signings, all must be able to come straight in and challenge the first 11. Selles ball has gone for me, sign players now that a new coach can try and get a structure/spine through the team with until Jan, then see where we're at? It may be a time then to sell Gus, etc depending on league position, etc and start slowly trying to build a new identity from there, with a coach with an obvious plan/vision.

Wingers are always a bit of a hit or miss. You have to accept that if you have a winger that runs at the full back that some time, even maybe the majority of the time, they will not beat them, its the times they do that you are playing them for. It might be only 2 or 3 times a game and therefore you they have to have a good final ball and you have to take your chances. If you don't want to accept this and want to play keep ball then don't play wingers. What you can't do us play the likes of Cannon and Oné as wingers because they are not wingers.

A bit like Raksaki, we played him more for the moments he can create but not alot else, just a good right sided midfielder is better than using cannon there.

My guess for wingers on a loan deal would be Romain Esse at Palace or Facundo Buonanotte at Brighton.

The latter is being linked with big European clubs, he won't be coming here.

The lad from brighton I could see coming would be Sariemento? He's reported to be set to leave Brighton. Probably more in our price range.

Fair. I just saw on the Sky News app that he was available to leave (probably on loan) as they are cutting their squad down.

im the opposite booker for me ings is a very clever signing even at 33 can see him scoring plenty for us redmond 3 years ago yes but hes had plenty of injuries but could be useful from the bench

I think you need alternates for both as due to the nature of the role it’s not always your day.
Secondly I think both still have a lot to prove they are “good” Championship wingers but they’re young and have time over the season to hopefully develop into this. In the meantime we need other options to support.
