Looking at this systematically, swapping Tanganaga for Anel and having 4 years to run on his contract is a decent deal. I’m not sure Anel’s strength was out and out defending either.

Swapping Ings for Moore means we lose a target man but we have a better caliber of striker without a doubt.

For the other departure, none of us have seen Soumaré though he was highly rated. Not sure he’s in the Souza category.

Being a bit greedy now, we’ve swapped out Zatterstrom for RND as a centre back option too. If we swap Mee for Robinson somehow then that looks better and Godfrey over Gilchrist isn’t unreasonable.

We’re still down a Rak-Sakyi and either a Souza or a Choudhury at this point though with just a few days left.

Agree - another couple of decent additions and I think the squad is as strong as last season.

I thought Soumare looked decent against Birmingham, he could tackle and also run with it. Maybe not quite as good as Souza off the ball, but far better on it.

Agreed Mee signing would finish defence but CDM and wingers ( maybe a 10 ? ) needed, still think there's a totally left field signing coming.

excellent signing that would be a quality back 3 and would give seriki and burrows licence to attack down the flanks soumare and a new signing in midfield hamer with a free role and campbell and ings up top thats my type of team wont happen though think selles will stick to 433
