Last time (Huddersfield PO Final) it was unbearably hot in the east side of the stadium so it will be nice to be in the shade this time.

I was very pleased with the way charlton fans sent good luck messages after our game, gracious in defeat not like a certain other team you guys beat in the previous round, seemed to give your team nothing but contempt, so glad you turned them over.
Thanks again George and all the messages of support from all the fans of all the proper football clubs around the country that have sent good luck etc messages.

cheers for the comments about beating relegation. we have improved football wise since CP went and our results lately have been LWLWLW which the same again will be enough to keep us up.

What are you realistic chances of beating Hull do you think? They don't have Long/Jelavic right, which must be a plus? Looks like you've been struggling to score many since playing us, something we know all too well.
 
It will be tough but who knows? Most never gave us a chance against Villa, Fulham, Forest or yourselves but we did it.

its gonna be a tough game mate, goalscoring is our perenial problem, who knows? maybe
lady luck will finally shine on us.

Realistically I think most blades will settle for the team showing up on the day for once. In 90 mins of football we all know anything can happen, so let the result we all want happen! (Plz footballing gods)
 
Hull are a Prmiership club, with quality players even with those exceptions.

It'll be tough, hopefully our players won't freeze.....for some reason I don't think Clough will allow that to happen. My view of the game is totally different to a play off final. The prize is still fantastic but the expectation to achieve is not as much given the opposition.

Hold firm for the 1st 20, see where we are then. Unlike in previous visits the feeling of an expansive stadium and pitch should suit our play now. The scoring may be the issue. the defense has looked pretty tight and well organised. One think Brian Clough always said was keep and clean sheet and you only need one to win.

I've had a feeling all week of 3-1 to us. Totally unrealsitic I think but it's just a feeling I have. There's also a nagging thought that the one honour that eluded Nigels father was the FA cup. Destiny? Nah surely not.....

I'm sure most of us feel deep down this one will probably be a step too far, but I think there's a sense that it should at least be competitive even if we do lose. Maybe we'll score this time!
 
A sheff utd winner in the dying seconds that has to be settled with goal line tech, now that would be a great way to win it! Dream a little dream........

We wont win, were shocking at wembley, dont know why dont just postopne it, then everything is gunna be reyt. Piggy clough will mess it up again for us blades.

A part of what made the Charlton match so enjoyable was the lack of schadenfreude between the fans; absolutely no ill-feeling between the fans. Good luck to you!
 
On the one hand, you have CharltonGeorge, who's taken the time to come on this forum to wish us well when there was no onus for him to do so. He's been as gracious as possible in defeat and is a credit to his club.

On the other, you have IloveEvans, who typifies our neighbours: crass, classless and a waste of oxygen. Such a shame he's ruined this thread.
