I'm pretty certain you'll be OK, JB. My son is 27, so a bit younger than you and he regularly travels in from Hadleigh on the same line as you and wear his different Blades shirts and up to now has never had any problems. You might have bumped into him, but he's coming over Friday and staying to make a weekend of it.
 
I was in colours on a tube carriage packed with Huddersfield fans after last time. Didn't even get a peep out of them.

When we played Huddersfield a couple of years ago, I jumped on the tube at North Greenwich wearing a Blades polo shirt and the first person in the carriage to wish me luck was a West Ham fan. We had a good chat as it happens so I wouldn't worry if I were you.
Besides, I bet your daughter could weigh in with a few well aimed kicks and punches if the need arises.

Read through this thread and nothing seems certain. Has anything been properly decided?

Thursday night/Friday morning will be the end of 7 night shifts in a row for me and I will be looking to get the most out of my long weekend. Am definitely up for any Saturday night banter that is planned. I suggested going out Saturday night to Ollessendro, Balham Blade and BladeInThatcham but the response was lukewarm so don't expect to see those fannies.

Shreds coaches are stopping in Wealdstone, not been there before normally do Stanmore. Any idea what is around there? I can't decide whether to stay or head somewhere a little more lively.

Hoping to settle on a rough plan today or tomorrow.

Was hoping to find out who fancied joining us in order to more sensibly decide on a location, if nobody is fussed, then we might be better staying somewhere more local to our hotels.

Wasn't going to have a really heavy one, as we'll be bright and early on Sunday for breakfast followed by the pre-match drinking.

So, do we have any takers?

Foxy - i'm definitely up for watching the other semi final with a few off here.
In fact, you may remember that when we reached the semi, I suggested a S24SU get together in London on the Saturday night. Again the response was lukewarm so wherever is decided, let me know and i'll get there.
 
There's a few of us going to see Sabella & Malf at The Water Rats at Kings Cross on The Saturday night. Just been announced that Jim Phipps will be there and announcing the bands
 
Bree Louise and onwards to Gt Portland St appears to be our route.

Something central would be the Court Road idea. A bit more west could be Notting Hill. I'll drop you a pm
 
Are we to take from this that no particular plans are in place Saturday because if that's the case, we may as well stay round Brentford and Kew?
