No argument with the team selection but it does highlight the need for a proper right sided attacker (along with new CBs obviously)

its wasnt difficult to guess our CB partnership today. bindon & robbo only 2 left. who are fit & competent. although never thought id see the day when i was pleased to see robbo starting

He just adds that calmness and reassurance we are lacking. And that is why you shouldn't start drinking at 9 a.m.

A better formation and line up for what Selles has, but if he's going with a 4231 then there's some imbalance with Hamer, Barry and O'Hare where perhaps Brooks would have been a better choice for the right side instead of O'Hare. There's just something not quite right with the balance of the team when O'Hare and Hamer are on the pitch together. I'd be more confident with O'Hare supporting Campbell than Hamer as he keeps the ball and runs with it and can play simple weighted through balls. Hamer is always looking for the highlight reel Hollywood ball.

I think it’s the same formation but with O’Hare replacing Brooks.

Barry - Campbell - O’Hare
Hamer - Soumare - Peck
Burrows - Captain Plastic - Bindon - Seriki
Cooper

Strongest team he could put out with what he has atm, got a good feeling e can get something from this, come on blades!

Selection predicted by some BUT.
Whichever way this sets up
4-3-3
4-2-2-2
4-2-3-1
4-4-2
This is NOT the best team available wherever the lightweight muppet OHare plays.
That is if you CAN assume two wingbacks make a back 4 as the pepshit clones apparently do with two sitting (not genuine) midfielders
Circus tricks in the box (if we get there) do NOT transform a slow, lightweight, none tackling, none dribbling; none (forward let alone long range) passing, none crossing, none shooting let alone none scoring player at this level into someone that magically is.

This will give a clear indication once and for all on whether rigid ideas of Selles will succeed.
You CANNOT look at these selections and say this is not the team Selles envisaged playing when HE said they were good enough for promotion - but needed squad depth to last the season.
Even with a couple of positional improvements on these players you have to be able to go to mediocrity like Swansea and get a result.

O'Hare has made a decent contribution since he arrived from Coventry.

We look awful. No composure, no movement off the ball, slow in possession. Did we have a preseason or is that the Mendela effect

No composure and they players looked panicked. Is this the pressure of needing that first win? Really shocking to watch the same players that seemed calm and composed on the ball last season. Hope they can hold on to half time and then have a reset, currently it's a tough watch
