It felt like when Hecky started Bash and Norwood in midfield against Palace. A statement from the manager that needed players

RND the obvious scapegoat, but I feel for him....should be nowhere near the team, and the whole back four looked like they'd been on the ales all afternoon.

I will say though anyone who cheered RND off needs to habe a word with themselves. Absolutely disgraceful!
Fuck the fuck off. And when you've finished fucking off, fuck off some more

Anyone cheering one of our players is a disgrace?

You're the epitome of what's wrong with our current fan base.

If you look at our current setup and want to blame RND, then Jees...

Pperhaps you fucking didn't understand the fucokg point I was fucking making you fucking drama queen

On rhe top people cheered him getting subbed which was bang out of order!

What's this bollocks that Selles is banging on about in his after match interview about 'transitions'. If he said it once he said it about 30 times. How about teaching your team basic defensive structures and how 4 defenders should be able to (betweem themselves) pick up a single opposition attacker in our box (on numerous occasions). Screw transitional talk, let's start with the basics please Ruben.

I'm far far far from impressed with today's defensive shot show. Let's teach our defence that adding 2 beans to 2 more beans doesn't make a small casserole, before we try the more advanced stuff.

Watched their goals again, for 2 of them we had 3 or 4 defenders in the box and they had just 1 yet he was completely unmarked.

Got to say Bindon was as bad as RND if not worse as he was too far from the man on both goals
That’s why I don’t think they were that good we were just so bad in defence it looked comical

We’ve got to watch out for counters, no shit Sherlock but he’s repeatedly gone on about high press as if other teams just lie down and appreciate the high press. He’s no tactical genius, if he wants to play this way he needs to buy some very fast midfielders and defenders or we are fucked. He needs new tools to do the job and if he doesn’t and continues to play this way he will be the tool and the fans will let him know it.

Not strengthening at the back will cost us throughout the season if we don’t bring the players in. That’s on the owners for not investing at the back.

But what’s on Selles is the decision to start RND. He wasn’t good enough last season and is certainly not good enough to start alongside a young lightweight lad like Bindon. No pace between them and it was painful to watch them both, though I’m sure there’s a player in Bindon it was hard to judge.

Robinson was a massive upgrade when he came on.

And when Seriki was predictably knackered, bringing a left back on, in McCallum exposes what we all know.. we need RB cover

Don't wet the bed you will get shouted at. It was blatantly obvious we needed CBs before Anel went but we sold him as well and still havent brought anybody in so I dont know what anyone was expecting.

It's games like this which is the reason Wilder and some other managers reckoned the transfer window should end before the season begins.

If there is an ever a good time to lose it's today. While window is still open & selles knows what we're working with. On the flip side our best players might wanna leave whilst they can
On today’s showing we need a very strong fast athletic side that transitions can be stopped, at the minute we don’t have any. Before today’s game I thought we needed 3 players but now I think 5 and they’ll need to be the fastest in this division.

Selles will get the brunt of this, but it's whomever allowed us to start the season with these defensive "options', at fault
What fucking twat thought this was a sufficient defence! We'll be mid table at best with these options. Do better yanks or fuck off!

Yes we need signings but until then you have to work with what you have got and tweak your tactics to suit the team you put out.

Personally I am shocked he thought a 20 year old making his Championship debut and a injury prone left back was fine as his CB pairing, big mistake and personally think because it was so weak we should have gone with 3 CBs and stuck Dovy in there (played pre season) or even Robbo for 60 mins if he couldn’t last the 90.
I think Selles is a fraud

That was one of the most defensively embarrassing performances from United that I can remember. Up there with the 8-0 drubbing v Newcastle re how open we are. Laughable.

Agree….

Was a weird match because overall we were better than them….especially in the 1st half.
On another day we win that match 3-1 and everyone goes home happy BUT

The defending was so bad it was almost criminal…..we said when we were 3-1 down….bring back Robbo….all is forgiven.
Obviously RND will face the flack…it’s a shame..his confidence must be rock bottom because he had a shocker the game before away at Swansea,

However the fullbacks were far too attack minded.
Sereki was pretty good 1st half regards some of his attacking but he switched off regards defending.

Apart from the last 20 minutes when the game was over don’t think BC were any good
But it seemed like every time they had an attack they scored. Cooper didn’t touch the ball for 60 minutes apart from taking it out of the net.

youll never win with them tactics ,,one word,,shocking back 4 ,,,get a grip ,,,them owners fault they srtipped all the assetts there not bothered sold em all.got no one in of quality at no5 we need soutts back if fit but they wont buy no one there skint my ass arrrrr,,ge a grip ,you sell people thats your plan ffs arrrrr im mad we wont win if you dont get players in defence or fans will rebel you

Agree with all that. I think we are by far a much better technical team. Problem is they were set up defensively organised whereas we had been set up to resemble a year 7 school playground kick and rush game. It was amateurish.

hey owners if read this its shocking with that defence so give your gaffer ruben selles the tools to do his job or he wont WIN or he will walk he wont last long people get fed up when we loose ffs get a grip,we only like winning at the lane or goodbye
