Someone will get him for near on 10 mil
I dont really have an opinion on him as although ive watched hull a few times ive never really noticed him .

Neither will most of the posters on here who are wanking themselves senseless at the thought of him signing and will have a collective meltdown if he goes elsewhere.

Imagine reaching near the top of your profession, earning millions of pounds, but having to ply your trade in Wigan, Hull and then (probably) Coventry 😂

Just summat that's comes across my feed. Everyone in the comments saying it's bullsh*t and he talks bollocks. 🤷‍♂️
Yeah the John Harriott account is a wum at best at worst it’s someone living out a collusion it’s someone who’s pulled a stock photo and is using it to pretend to be a football agent I was wondering if the other one was another fake account as well and they were arguing with each other over nothing

All I know is, I want Charlie Hughes. He is a top end Champ player and will come at a cost. I rate him very highly. I personally think his value as it stands is around the £10m+ mark. I doubt anything less than £8m plus add ons will be looked at from 'ull's perspective. As much as I'd love to sign him. I don't think we will.

I suppose it all depends on what “part” of the sales revenue Selles is getting, plus I’m sure he’s got one or two other positions he wants to add to as well

Exactly.

Second half of the season Burnley, and all season Leeds, were just much better sides than us.
Our points total massively flattered.

If the team that turned up once in every 5/6 games could have maintained that level of consistency, maybe we'd have gone up.
But too many of our players, inc. a lot of our key ones, blew hot & cold.
Can’t lump it all on the players. Wilder massively bottled those games around Easter when the pressure was on. Super defensive, created no chances, everyone feyting and arguing with fans.

Can’t see how anyone can say they didn’t bottle it. Properly mentally weak team.

Get him unsettled, no player is staying if they want to leave, it happens all the time…
Im sure MGW wanted to leave forest and ended up staying and signing another contract.

Shall watch Isak at Newcastle unfold too, if he ends up staying past this transfer window (which hes actively tried to push for a move probbsly more than MGW).

Big difference between MGW staying for European football at Forest and Hughes staying for a relegation scrap at Hull. I'm sure he already wants to move.

I'd have gone for Phillips at the 6 million quoted.

You've got to pitch signings like Hughes as an investment. He could be worth 3x the value in 2027.
Totally agree but I reckon spurs decided they didn't want to sell him. For that price he was a bargain and seems too good to be true.

Remember couple of seasons ago we'd been told Trafford was available got summat like £7m and then he went to Burnley for £19m 🤣

It's quite an easy pitch, if there is the money there to spend because you also cover that if he doesn't kick on massively, that he's a young, English center half, clearly one of the best in the Championship so if you can get him on sensible wages then he could be here for a long time if he doesn't realise all his potential.
At £10m on a 5 year deal, it's about the going rate for a like for like loan in that position with the added option of selling in year 4 and still getting a return.
It depends if they have the £10m available alongside everything else they want to do this summer, but us looking to take out a loan to free up monies now would suggest we do have it.
This is why I think this deal or one for Doyle at a similar price makes a lot sense for us right now and I hope one will be done in addition to the more experienced Godfrey on loan or whoever it is.
