As long as we get a chair back, currently our transfer window feels like an empty dance hall in a deserted village, I think we need to goto IKEA to buy some chairs this time, not just borrow some from the pub around the corner.

Being reported around 9m euros from the Dutch twatter accounts I've seen. Not bad really. Should be able to bring in 2 or 3 with that, if were shrewd.

Rob Holding's joined that US team now, hasn't he? Which is a shame, he'd have been good, knowing core of group already.

Sunderland supposedly haven't pursued a return to Mepham,he was great - so a loan -or if we can get a good deal with Bournemouth, would take him.

Joe Worrall we've pursued for ages, remember links with Wilder 1st time & then Hecky & then Wilder again...

Tanganga would be sensible, a great season last year, if we can avoid any injuries too.

I'd go Mepham & Tanganga. Maybe Charlie Hughes, but sure there will be some unknown via AI too...

Not sure Mepham or Worrall particularly suit a side that's going to play a high line?

Hughes is the one that fits the bill for me. Maybe Tanganga as he can also play RB but I'm not convinced he's good enough.
 
As I’ve said on countless occasions, when a player comes in to a club like ours, gives solid service, and departs for a fee equal to or in excess of what we paid, it’s a resounding success for all concerned.

We simply haven’t been as savvy as this in recent times and so while sad to see AA depart as he’s quality at this level, I have to applaud the club overall.

A truly heartfelt GLTTL.

Obviously we need a couple of CBs, ideally permanent signings. 🤞 COYB.
 

Sad to see him go, I'll be amazed if we manage to bring anyone in as talented.
Hopefully it will allow us to bring in a couple of reliable centre backs and form better partnerships. Anel and Robinson just didn't quite work together, both have looked better with someone else next to them.
 
Anel is an example of the signing we should be looking to make. For the money we paid, he's been a really good signing. Seems like a nice lad as well, really professional and I wish him all the best in the future. He'll do great in that league. Great with the ball, not so great with physical battles.

Same United that just broke it's championship spending record in January yes? Or a different one? Maybe the one looking for players just as good from overseas but far cheaper? That one?

Robbo and Bindon may be the starting CBs for Saturday, I very much doubt that they'll be the starting CBs at the end of the window.
 
Good luck Anel. Has been a big part of recent success. I hope he looks back on his time here very fondly despite one miserable season. Under difficult circumstances it was really nice to see how much support he had during his family/national team crisis and I wish him nothing but the best for the future.

It never looked likely he'd sign an extension so well done to the club for securing what they say is a decent price and looking forward to bringing in some much needed replacements in this position.

He also got a lot of bookings pulling people back because he was out of position. He was good, but not one of the players I consider irreplaceable. We do need to buy at least 2 centre backs now because we can’t start the season with Robbo as first choice.
 

I was fairly happy with the Wilder decision and glad we’ve gone in a new direction, however, Wilder would not have left us short like this before the season starts.

This feels like a very similar summer to Slavs in the championship & Heckys in the prem which didn’t end up in a very good season
