I'm amused he posted a highlights reel with all his Spanish goals that lasts about 30 seconds.

Goals scored

24/5 - 5
23/4 - 6
22/3 - 15
21/2 - 1
20/1 - 1
19/20 - 6

Come home saviour.

He set up some goals and looked more mobile than we ever made him look. I am warming to the idea but concerned that he’s been conditioning himself for a few months

And that means....?
That the season is close and he's looking forward to playing football again once he finds a club again, and perhaps he's close to being unveiled somewhere (not necessarily us).

If he was teasing that he was going to play for us again, then why show highlights of Las Palmas too.

I don't rely on Blades logic as some of our fans are off the chart flat earther level mental when it comes to adding 2 and 2 and getting 5, but arguing that it is definitely 5.

Personally I'll be massively annoyed if we resign him. If he loved us that much then why did he turn us down last season. Sod him. Average Championship player at best. Can't say we've missed him and I can't see him Selles style of play.

well if that Instagram story doesn’t mean he’s coming back then he’s a terrible tease.
Didn’t he do the same just prior to signing for his current club?

If he comes back I reckon he’d definitely be good for 10-15 goals this season in this style of team. If that’s bang average then great, I’ll take bang average.

I've been a member of Team McBurnie from the beginning but he wouldn't have been my first choice this summer. If he can stay fit then yeah I think you're right about what he can offer. Big if though.

I’m pretty sure though that he did a similar thing which made fans think he was resigning for us previously and then didn’t.
On a free I’d 100% take him and allow One further room to develop this season.
I don’t think he’s ideal, but ideal would cost us north of £10m which we need to spend on our defence.

My gut feel is that he’ll go back to Swansea.

I didn't mind McBurnie. I do think it's time to move on though.

He will surely go to whoever offers him the most money (and so would most of us probably) and that will be Ipswich you'd think?

I think we need to move on from him. He is decent at this level but another who was blowing after an hour and not sure he suits a pressing style at all.

Oli Macs Instagram story..... starts off showing his Las Palmas goals, then goes on to show some utd ones. The little timer icon....is this a subliminal (obvious) message hes on his way back to Sheff?

Moore out and Olli back with a few million in our pocket would be outstanding business imo.

I know he wasn't everybody's cup of tea, but in his last season with us he was excellent, and he's also capable of playing a little wider too.

Better business would be just keeping the Moore money and letting McB go somewhere else (assuming we sell Moore of course).

Just because we currently have a big lump of a centre forward in the squad, does not mean we need to always have one.

Given the way we're looking like playing under Selles, we'd be far better off getting a forward in who is capable of instigating a press on the opposition, while having solid movement off the ball in order to try and get in behind defences. I don't currently have a name in mind to fit that bill, but McBurnie absolutely would not be such an option.
