Mi face looks mardy in flat cap and mi wippet just fooked off down jennel cause forgot to put wood in t'oil.
SnickitNow you've opened a maggots/magnet can of worms because it's ginnel.
Threads gone now.
Still questioning my own sanity. Surely someone else spotted it? Anyway I stand by my comment - looked reyt good. Whatever it was.Could it have been a Tramlines shirt? They did one this year that's similar to our away shirt.
Made by Lotto I think?
I see you're a southerner like me, but with northern blood. Arr me hearty.should be reyt...

A snicket goes between walls or fences. A ginnel goes between buildings.Snickit
Very excited to find out Captn Blade is a southerner! where have you been?!I see you're a southerner like me, but with northern blood. Arr me hearty.

Pretty offensive to my northern patter, sir.Very excited to find out Captn Blade is a southerner! where have you been?!![]()
Maggots.A "jennel" (also often spelled "ginnel" or "gennel") is a dialectal term, primarily used in Northern England, especially in Yorkshire and Lancashire, to describe a narrow passageway or alleyway.
Here are some key characteristics:
* Location: Jennels are typically found between houses, particularly terraced rows.
Oh, and the new away kit is nice![]()
I think I was making the same point. Some would take a different view.
Cultural appropriation is the adoption or use of elements of a minority culture by members of the dominant culture, often in a way that is considered disrespectful, stereotypical, or exploitative, and without proper understanding or acknowledgment of the original culture. It frequently involves power dynamics, where a dominant culture takes from a marginalized culture, sometimes even against the wishes of the originating culture.
Apologies for polluting the thread .
I do like that Tramlines kit tbh. Seems like most festivals have released a football shirt this year (the Glastonbury one is quality). There is a bit of a football/fashion/music crossover going on at the moment. Paul Heaton’s gig at the lane had some amazing football shirts for sale which I bitterly regret not purchasing.Tramlines has to be the tackiest festival going. Feels like its run by some mid 20s social media obsessive melt who thinks because it's in Sheffield they have to inject northern related rubbish in to everything, I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find a bottle of "Hendos" on there. Not only has it become popular for festival goers to wear bucket hats (for some reason) I saw people last weekend with ones that said things like "be reyt" and "reyt good" ln it. Has to be the same tit who works in the errr... bins department that decided the next initiative to stop people littering is to plaster them with slogans like "chuck it in" and "Purrit int bin"
Re read your OP, agreed.I think I was making the same point.
You also have the likes of Pulp and Arctic Monkeys, from nominally working class backgrounds, being co-opted by the middle classes of Sheffield, effectively dancing for the coins they scatter their way.
Or something like that.
How much were shirts last season? Didn't realise an adult shirt was £60.
They also charged £60 for last years third due to “limited numbers”Shirts have been 55 since 2018, but they did release the limited edition shirt (with the gold pinstripes) for 60 to prime use for the price hike.
TBF 60 is about the going rate this year.

Meanwhile, the new 2025/26 home kit will be available in-store only from week commencing 4th August, with a confirmed on-sale date to be announced in due course. When will home kit be in club shop?
It’s white, be careful you don’t spill your dinner down it!What's the verdict on the training jacket.
Design is decent, definitely need a size up (good job I'd worked that out beforehand).
The material is weird. If you shut your eyes and rub it you're not sure if you're rubbing an early 1990s shell suit or stroking Jimmy Savilles ball bag!
I thought these things were made in Italy? The same Italy which is at the forefront of fashion and high quality workmanship?

A lot of people say shit about Savile but when I was 7 he fixed it for me to milk a cow blindfold...What's the verdict on the training jacket.

I originally read this as the 4th but reading it again it seems to imply it'll be some point this week but no exact date confirmedMeanwhile, the new 2025/26 home kit will be available in-store only from week commencing 4th August, with a confirmed on-sale date to be announced in due course.
For those wanting to wear the new home colours for the season opener on 9th August, the kit will also be on sale in-store on matchday. We are expecting the shop to be busy ahead of kick-off, so supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid the queues.
