He was a luxury player that you always knew would move on.

I’d say Berge had a lot more qualities than him, appreciate people would say they’re different players but he mainly plays CDM for Fulham & Burnley which Souza also plays & Berge offered a lot more going forward.

His stamina in the last 20 was appalling in a high tempo game, but most of the season against lesser quality teams he bossed it.

I’m disappointed he’s gone but fully expected it

Before the naysayers come along I'll say I'm actually sorry to see him go.

The 1st half of the season saw pretty much every fan channel I saw on socials have him in their Team of the Season so far.

He didn't hit those same heights after his injury but not sure he ever regained full fitness. Was still pretty effective all the same.

Can totally agree with anyone that slates him for his 1st season when we were in The Prem as he was atrocious but really can't agree with anyone who say's he was crap or bang average last season.

Bumped into him a couple of times last season when I was walking back from the Sheaf and he always had time to chat to me and my dad. Fantastic when he’s on it but has to be one of the more obvious transfers in recent memory.

Good luck to him and hope this loosens up Bettis’ chequebook.

Shame to see him go. I like Vini, but he goes without really showing us just how good he can be.

I was at Luton in the PL, and his performance that day is one of the best individual displays I've seen for a long time. Won every header at the back, was very harshly punished for a handball in the box that no fan would ever give a pen for, and the work he out in to drive forward and score his goal was superb. If we'd seen more of that Vini Souza, we'd be getting a much larger fee for him now.
