It depends how long you want to be apart of it for, he clearly wasn't good enough last year fitting in as a collective team otherwise we would have been promoted and it's not like he only played a handful of games either.

There were rumours he wanted to be at a higher profile team to be in contention for the Brazil squad for the World cup which is quite worrying for them since he hasn't played since he was at U20 level.

I get your first point although he just looked to be playing a different game when he was fit and playing. He also isn't a match winner as he never really took a shot (and I don't believe he scored at all?) If he wasn't playing, I don't think we would have finished where we did.

I saw an interview with him from a couple of months ago suggesting just that, he wants to play international football. Whether he can or not...

Permanent first team transfer this summer (bold indicates a fee). The biggest fee so far is Zeidane Inoussa moving from BK Häcken to Swansea for £5m; more than half the teams in the division either haven't made any signings or have just made one. We're not alone.

6 teams have signed 4 players (Bristol C, Humberside Jungle Cats, Norwich, Preston, QPR, Swansea)
2 teams have signed 3 players (Birmingham, Watford)
4 teams have signed 2 players (Blackburn, Coventry, Derby, Millwall)
7 teams have signed 1 player (Charlton, Portsmouth, United, Southampton, Stoke, West Brom, Wrexham)
7 teams haven't signed anyone (Ipswich, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Oxford, Yesterday FC)

QPR quietly building a decent side there. Might be this year's dark horses.

To even be in contention for international football he would need to step up a level, maybe similar to how Berge has done at Fulham by stepping up with better players around you, you become that better player, that is the only way he is going to get near Brazil. Shame he doesn't have a like a Cypriot mum or something so he could represent them and get international football that way.

1 goal
1 assist
I think I read somewhere in 2 years with us, if he's going to Wolfsburg they have finished 12th 3 times and 8th once in the last 4 years in a league where Bayern have won the last 13 years on the trot glttl

He's mister average at best. Take the money and run😊

Well Bayer Leverkusen won the league season before last…

If Souza does leave....we should move for Ben Sheaf as his replacement....last year of his contract and well.... just to keep transfer trolling Coventry to infinity...

genuinely what’s the point in selling Souza? He’s good on the ball and good breaking up attacks. He has 2 years on his contract left as well. So why not keep him?!
I guess because the manager thinks he can improve the team with £13m (assuming he gets that). Wheelin and dealin innit.

Swansea done some decent business as well.

I think a few of the established Championship teams will have better seasons.
Ipswich are a proper unknown, Leicester are in turmoil, Southampton are off the back of the second worst PL season ever and our underlying stats weren’t great. It’s all up for grabs.

Weeeeeerz Pigs signings. Think they’re on -6

12 out of 13 then
Cash money is turning most of the top divisions in Europe into monopolies or duopolies. Three of the top 5 leagues are now dominated by a single team (Man City, PSG, Bayern; Madrid & Barcelona in Spain). Only Italy has become more competitive - but that's as the money dries up.

If true, £13m feels low, must be a release clause that's kicked in surely.

But we know he's a great DM in this league and possibly not good enough in the Prem, so profit is good. Last summer probably would have been delighted to get even £3m for him.

It really shows how football has come on where £13million for any Sheff United player feels low especially when in 2007 we sold Jags to Everton for £4million and the Kyles combined to Spurs for a rumoured £10 million in 2009. Crazy times!

The qualitynofntheirnbusiness will be largely dependent on them keeping Sargeant and Mainz. If they do they will be thereabouts at the end of the season
They'll both go. They've already turned down an offer for Mainz. I reckon they could get a £35 million for the pair of them.

If they get them sold early and Manning can use most of that then I think they'll be troubling the play-offs this season.

Same guy who tweeted he was going to Wolfsburg, said he will be announced tommorow, 15% sell on fee for any sale by Wolfsburg. Also Flamengo will receive around 400k

I'd have sold him.last summer, as he looked poor in a very poor side in the EPL.

He was excellent last season, not quite the same when he came back from injury, but still very good.

He's a player we should be hanging onto, not selling.

Wait, so you'd have sold him after a year of dog shit when his value was through the floor, but retain him after a season of redemption? You do know the saying is buy low, sell high right?
