No doubt a 30min HT break to get the interviews in as well as the adverts.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say that they wish to hear the views of a manager at half time or a player coming offOne way of making them not put cameras in and I mean surely its an invasion of privacy, I'm surprised PFA hasn't stepped in regards this.
Also regards to half time interviews again ridiculous, as players you need to get in to recover and take in any tactics been discussed not be dragged out for an interview.
Should refuse to interview or make a no comment (or as little as possible).
I dont agree with it and I dont see what value it adds to the spectator or the game, they are trying to Americanise it.
Im not saying whether i agree with the whole thing or not, but im sure they've been doing this with Rugby on the TV for a few years now.One way of making them not put cameras in and I mean surely its an invasion of privacy, I'm surprised PFA hasn't stepped in regards this.

I’m generally not interested in what any of them have to say, I can form my own opinions.I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say that they wish to hear the views of a manager at half time or a player coming off
I’ve been thinking about it and unless it’s the summer international tournaments where they tend to have more relaxed discussions with pundits, I’ve gradually stopped watching the pre match, half time and full time anyway. It’s too much and the pundits are generally boring or annoying.I’m generally not interested in what any of them have to say, I can form my own opinions.
Its commercialism and its a professional sport =a business and tbh they have been doing this with the FA Cup and League cup for a few years nowPurely Americanising the sport.
Fuckoff.
First started in the East German Women's Conference League back in 1958.Can't wait for the first cock flash in the dressing room.
I can think of some managers and players whose views I don't want to hear....ever.I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say that they wish to hear the views of a manager at half time or a player coming off
For me this is the final nail in the coffin of football being a sport. It is now entirely devised as an entertainment for the armchair fan. Aaaaaah, jumpers for goalposts…………………………………
I nearly always record matches so I can fast forward through the shite. Agree, I’d much prefer no comms, just the crowd noise.I’ve been thinking about it and unless it’s the summer international tournaments where they tend to have more relaxed discussions with pundits, I’ve gradually stopped watching the pre match, half time and full time anyway. If I could turn off comms completely I probably would
If the rumours are true, that needs to be Willy Gnonto. Can't wait for the first cock flash in the dressing room.
I'm only wondering how they'll fit the adverts in.Yet another fad that's designed to bring us closer to the game yet it's never been further away from it.
All this means is we have to listen to another 15 instances per game of "Once again, apologies for any industrial language you might have heard. Tensions are high."
Wouldn't mind so much if we got genuine opinions and feelings out of players.Footballers tend to waffle crap after a match, so how is it going to be any different when they have been subbed?
They cannot actually say what they want to say, So it is just going to be clichè after clichè.
They probably aren't going to say "Im not happy at being subbed off" or "the team is playing crap"
They are more likely to say "Still another 45 minutes left, so who knows?"
Or the presenter will ask "It looks like you picked up an injury before coming off... do tell us more" ... "yeah... i erm... tuck a little knock to the calf, hopefully it's not serious, but yeah, listen the lads are doing well..." (Losing 0-2)
Blah blah blah
NoFfs will they just leave the game alone
It’ll stop when one of oppo staff watches it on an iPad and counter tactic immediately, might as well have open dressing roomThe only positive I see in this is if managers are genuine with what they say and it gives insight into "what we need to do differently in the second half". It has to be better than the pundits' analysis at HT
I remember watching Aussie, rugby league grand final years ago, Sam Burgess cheek got busted at the start of the game, they stuck a microphone in his face at half time and asked "How's the cheek?" His response "its fucked"I watch Danish football and managers are obliged to give brief interviews at half time. Usually it's a single question, and the entire interview takes less than a minute. Obviously managers aren't going to speak about their tactics, so the questions are normally something like "are you happy with the way your team played in the first half?" Managers give bland, noncommital answers and that's that. Pointless really - I'd rather see analysis or highlights.
Can't wait for the first cock flash in the dressing room.
On the pitchThey'll be interviewing fans during the game next
Yes, nip on while the balls at the other end, have a chat with the goalieOn the pitch
