Arblaster is a fair way off starting any games and is apparently struggling with his rehab.
As opposed to ‘on grass’.Not what I’ve heard. Been in Rhodes recently.
On the sandAs opposed to ‘on grass’.
That’s been posted a few times along with people saying he’d had it operated on again.
Then Oli himself put a picture of himself kicking a ball on grass at the end of May on Instagram.
Wilder had said not too long ago that Oli should be ready for a full pre season
Heard from lots of different people he had a second operation after a setback.
Each to their own. Must have moved on from Wilders daughterNot what I’ve heard. Been in Rhodes recently.
True but I doubt this is a priority right now. Feels like a position we might get someone close to the window to provide cover. We won't sign anyone better
If we want to be a team that controls games and has the ball, we risk going into the season without a reliable option in CM who ensures we can do thatTrue but I doubt this is a priority right now. Feels like a position we might get someone close to the window to provide cover.
I'm not sure Selles is interested in controlling the game tbh. It sounds like he wants us to attack quickly rather than retain the ball.If we want to be a team that controls games and has the ball, we risk going into the season without a reliable option in CM who ensures we can do that
We won't sign anyone better
Chances are there are many players abroad who are potentially better options that we've never heard of yet. The down side as always is whether they can adapt to moving to a new country to make an instant impact. Not sure if you're over rating him a bit.
He's not that good.

Agreed. Not sure if you're over rating him a bit.

Fair enough, he wayn't need to move house. Bit of a statement signing for them but I reckon we can get better and it's not a top priority area to strengthen anyway (probably, depending who we sell)![]()

very low barWe won't sign anyone better
That's a cracking signing for them. Think Brum could end up top 6 this season if that's the calibre of player their looking at.![]()

Nope he isn't glad we have steered away tbhHe is that good
For the loan, they'll probably just pay Wolves a large fee and Wolves keep paying the wages. It was abundantly clear through our negotiations with Doyle in 2023 that he was unwilling to accept a reduced salary on relegation. I don't think it's a stretch, therefore, to suggest that Birmingham will be offering somewhere in the region of £40k per week in the Championship. That would smash our wage structure.
