Nice to see that someone has the same opinion that I do.

Any comment that features the phrase "I asked ChatGPT..." or some variant of that - I immediately am no longer interested.

It feels like "I'm incapable of forming my own opinion on this topic, so I got one from a glorified search engine".
I don't mind it being used if it forms part of someone's reasoning but people are using it instead of having an opinion. It's a great assistance tool but using it instead of actually forming thoughts yourself is ridiculous.

£1.2m would be something like a £12m signing these days. For a club like ours, it was a huge fee.

You quote the exact thing. It may have been large in the context of Sheffield United, but in the context of football, it was not. We have never paid big transfer fees or wages for anyone.

Only the Don Hutchison signing was a bigger fee at the time so it was a big signing.

In terms of other clubs, my recollection was that no Championship clubs were spending much over £1m, maybe £2m maximum at the time. But happy to be proven wrong

Again, you are looking in the context of what Sheffield United have done, and not at the general price of players at the time. Birmingham spent 800k on a striker two and a half years before we signed Ebbrell. It wasn't a window then, but at around the same time Bolton spent three times what we spent on Ebbrell on an aging Dean Holdsworth. Ebbrell was an established player who had over 200 appearances for a Premier League club. Do you think we should have got him for 300k?

This wasn’t the issue they had found on his medical that led to a massive argument one away day dinner. Kendall desperately wanted him. The physio team didn’t.

100% he got a slice of that pie. Old friends init.

Not much point answering that
Why not?

It was a genuine question, I can't remember him getting MOTM in any of the games he's played, in the 4 seasons he's been here.

You said he has, so I've asked you to name the game, now you're not answering.

Odd

It was a really loaded spiteful question
But you instantly assumed it was for the Wednesday match where all he did was tap it in

Top blade mate
Keep up the good work 👏

Thought he was off to the SPL.

And these ignorant AI comments that literally drench every thread about us on every social media platform are boring as fuck.
Yep, all the AI is doing is applying filters and generating lists based on stats from criteria we have identified as desirable traits for a player to have. Just what a person would do, but quicker. And picks up players in markets we’ve not sent a person to and then the actual scouts and analysts look at the data.

People seem to think Metal Mickey rolls in to Bettis’ office beeping and flashing and then prints out a photo of a player.

Boogie boogie 🤩

I know he cost a lot of money, I know he's been blighted with injuries, it's not his fault, but he gave us this, an iconic goal and picture in their rusty shithole, something to send the deluded knobheads and remind them "he put the goal in the Wednesday net".

I love Bramall Lane when it's rocking and hostile, but wish we would direct at the opposition rather than our own!

Contract out very soon be surprised if he stays without the protection of Wilder
Brewster has really come on this year and put in some good performances - he has ability. He should be offered a new 1 year contract (with possible extension)- at a vastly reduced rate of course!
