Even if he stays

Anyone get any further with why Wilder went missing on the final whistle after the final please?

The lead culture carrier/ proper Sheffield lad, walking out on HIS lads and 34k fans at a time that they needed him. Where was he?

Has he yet admitted any responsibility for us dropping out of auto and losing to Sunderland?

The client journalists said anything I've missed please?
You sound like a jilted lover 🤣

Sounds like you've already made up your mind about all that and just intend to stick the knife if now he's getting sacked.
There appears to be plenty willing to undermine the potential new boss already. Its quite an industry looking at things tonight.

Support the Blades, not Wilder and some transparency about what happened really isn't much to ask for.

So you're trying to even out their reactionary rubbish with your own, nice one.

Transparency on where Wilder went after the final whistle? Down the tunnel I imagine. I, like most, didn't give a shit at the time, but I can't believe anyone is still desperate for an explanation now.

If you don't like him, his antics or his management style, you've got plenty to go on at this point without this trivial shit.

Correct. The club is not 'reconnected'. Its now divided.
Another claim busted.

Next you'll be telling me that when Warnock says "they're a great bunch of lads", he's not being entirely honest either!

You should write a book exposing all these lies - The Claim Buster has a nice ring to it. While you're at it, can you investigate my manager at work, he says he values my input but never takes it on board.

But why not give some respect to Wilder for what he's done?

He quit on his players and fans. Always front and centre when it's gone well but never accepts responsibility for the negatives.

You're 100% right. Plenty to go on and that's, in part, why he's gone.

Happy to give respect for his first term but it's far from just on him. Knilly is at least 50% of everything.

This version is nothing like the first IMO. Lacks tactics, courage, maturity, has a fall back defensive position to see out games, and it's sad.

He's had two goes at running 'his' club and has become a divisive figure. He's been very fortunate in life and should be proud, satisfied and move on.

If he's capable of that.

OK I get it and don't disagree with much of what you say, but I still think he deserves respect and not being called **nt

Morning pal.
OK I get it and don't disagree with much of what you say, but I still think he deserves respect and not being called **nt

An old story comes to mind. A bloke hated his manager and they get to having words. The bloke asks 'Do I get disciplined or sacked if I call you a c**t??
Answer 'Yes'
Bloke 'Do I get sacked or disciplined if I think you're a c**t?'
Answer 'No, obviously'
Bloke 'Ok then boss. I think you're a c**t'

Social media all over. I respect what he did first time round but feel that was his peak and believe the evidence in what we saw on the pitch last season firmly supports that.

I disagree with how he acts, I find it immature, unprofessional and disrespectful and I think he's created an almost god like image around him that other people will struggle to move on from. In fact, my fear is that they will actively work against Selles (if/ when he's confirmed) and the club in a personal and group effort to get their guy back in the managers office.

I'm afraid that too many on here and other forums seem incapable of disagreement in decent manner and think that others will be cowed by bullying and abuse. I'm not interested in that and they need to really think about what they're doing. They won't, because Wilder plays too big a part in their lives and heads. He comes before United. It's all a bit pathetic really.

You and I can disagree on anything, in a proper manner, and for clarity, no, I don't think you're a c*** either

The person in this thread who seems least likely to move on from Wilder is yourself.

I’d expect that to happen at some point in the next 5 years. Wilder will get ideal when we have no parachute money left.
That's how a back street pub team works sadly, keep making the same mistakes & praying " maybe this time it might work"

Social media is full of for and against. He's divisive. The reconnection is dead in the water.

I'll be there in August supporting the club, manager and shirt. Apparently others won't, which works for me as I'll have more choice of seats.

Every cloud ......

I agree all managers have a shelf life, it comes with the job, I think they know at the most they have a few transfer windows to make their mark whereas owners and particularly new ones want to make their mark. I think Wilder’s walking off at the end probably was the mark of a man that was fucked off but not only that he knew that the owners were about to get rid. Wilder knows as a manager you’ll get the boot and so will Selles. Selles needs a revamp while satisfying the boards desire to dabble in transfers. Time will tell but like death and taxes it’s inevitable Selles will be sacked.

No but he banged on about his England cap and why he should have got more.
I can believe that.

I had the misfortune to sit in front of him and Mick Jones at a game in our league days.

What a pair of moaning twats they were.

Everything was better in their days, especially them.

That should have said league one 🤣

Plymouth, he turned on two players next to the tunnel as he walked off.

Everybody saw it..

I didn’t. Any link to a video of that?

Weird he wasn't charged with "fighting opposition players" if everyone saw it.
