You don't think there's been a leak?
I'd say, on the balance of probability, it's highly likely there has been a leak. Enough reputable sources are reporting it...

You don't think Wilder is in the dark?
Again, Wit (his best mate that he's on holiday with), seems to be suggesting he is. As is Danny Hall.

I'm commenting on things that are out in the public.
First off you imply it's from the owners, or they haven't been discrete. Then now also Wit is leaking. So equally as likely Wilder and nothing to do with COH.
It's conjecture. And biased to your pre existing view.

The point is CW shouldn’t know they are meeting to decide to sack him. It’s not his news to leak and he shouldn’t know / find out.

This club needs to be brought up to speed with the modern game both on and off the pitch. Wilder, his methods, his recruitment and his tactics are not modern. He's not the exciting manager that he was 10 years ago. He's stuck in his ways and too stubborn to change.
All that could be true but he's still got the best record of anyone managing in the Championship right now.

What manager ahead of Wilder would you be more certain of finishing top 6 with?

Nobody knows whether they are meeting to decide whether to sack him. We often see posts dismissing transfer rumours as rubbish, especially at times like now when the media doesn’t have much to report on, but a few people seem to have become very invested in these particular rumours and have started making all sorts of stuff up. I smell an agenda.

The Americans may not have leaked it to the press directly, but it has reached the press nonetheless. So perhaps they haven't been sensitive enough with their discussion... either way, it is a mess and they haven't been decisive enough, or got ahead of the narrative.

It sounds like Wilder is still in the dark on his future, whilst the media knows there is a split decision at Board level.

I referenced last week that I had a growing scepticism around the new owners due to their silence and lack of progress on off-field infrastructure.
Since then, we've signed another unknown kid from the Bulgarian league and we've had this managerial fiasco.

One of my biggest concerns is thay they've still not surrounded themselves with football people.
Who is advising / approving these football decisions?
Maybe one of the biggest problems is Wilder won’t allow outside football people to come in and advise?

Wilder's "Sausage Roll" pub antics will have been noted. His meltdown during the week from hell including turning on Blades fans, squaring up to Plymouth players will have been noted and I doubt they'll have been happy with it. A

Personally I like Wilder showing what the game means to him.

Rather have that than a boring corporate Scott Parker type in a suit.

Depends what the outcome of the meeting in London was though?

Example;

The board say they want the club to go in a certain direction, CW says he's not keen and would prefer to keep things as they are so the board say thanks for your time Chris, we will continue our meetings over the coming days to decide on the best way forward and let you know. CW leaves the meeting knowing his job is in the balance and the meetings thereafter will decide his future.

Embarrassing and tiresome this will they wont they but it seems to be a common theme with Chris Wilder where ever he has been he has bullied the boardrooms so no surprise him and his piss head mates are at it again.
Hopefully the new owners get rid of the twat today as Wilder will never be happy without control over everything. He has to go.

God help us if Rueben Selles is a target to replace him, if so I'll be asking for a ST refund his style of pissing around passing across the back four got Hull City relegated their fans hated him.

If this is true it's complete madness. All Wilder and Knill need is another season to build on what was already a pretty good season. You only have to look at how Leeds stuck with Farke to see how a rebuild can take a few seasons. I also believe Leeds now have a better chance of staying up than any of the promoted clubs and a better chance than if they were promoted last season. Patience is often lacking from fans and boards. I can not name one better management team to get us promoted from the championship. It will show complete lack of football knowledge from the new board if they make this mistake.

Who do you want then if you get rid of Wilder? I don't see any realistic options out there that are better than him. 92 points from 46 matches in a huge rebuilt should certainly allow him to go again the following season.

Spot on, agree with every word.

Impossible to say. There could be a manager in the Belgian league who we've not heard of because we don't follow Belgian football, more than capable of taking us up. Perhaps Lampard could do it with our squad. Maybe there's another young manager doing well with a mid-table team who is capable of making the step up and getting us promoted. Sticking with Wilder just because anything else is risky is not necessarily the answer. Sticking with Wilder could be as much of a problem, particularly if you give him a chequebook. The only managers I would be 100% against is Southgate and Dyche. Anyone else would get my support whether I'd heard of them or not as I'd be open minded.

As I previously posted none of us had heard of Daniel Farke or David Wagner before they arrived in English football, but they were successful and got teams promoted. We don't need to be so dismissive and narrow minded. Change doesn't mean failure.

As if anyone is bothered what Alan Biggs thinks
Overheard him In a local pub recently, telling this poor lady about his job and his opinions on life. So full of himself but has to be as short on admirers
I'm confident, for reasons I won't go into, that that statement was sanctioned by Wilder, unfortunately.

We lost the play off final, Sunderland did not win it. The reason we lost is because Wilder yet again sat back and invited the opposition on.
We played well in the first half against Leeds, excelled against Coventry because we went forward.
Too many times we were shown to be short of ideas and a willingness to extend our lead, that in my opinion is the main reason why he will be moved on. Oh and signing, the likes of Cannon when we needed a centre half, who he did not play, and picking fights because his ego was bigger than his common sense, and an inability to embrace other peoples ideas and acknowledge that you have to work within a professional management framework.

It would not be the first time he has been used to peddle “news”, that suits someone’s agenda. Biggs does not report news as no one tells him anything, he just publishes opinions, sometimes his but also someone else’s.

Who can forget his two page special report and joyful exuberance when ‘Sir Chansiri’ upped the press buffet helping sizes a few years ago!! Biggs dreams of having the gravitas of Alan Partridge
