We'd have gone up this season if McBurnie had renewed last summer

Before Campbell was fit enough and we were playing Moore up too on his own with blaster in the side I thought Mcburnie would have fit that side perfectlyI actually think that he would link up really well with Campbell....
Me too. Suspect that as usual there's a difference between unpopular on this forum and unpopular in the wider fanbase, though.I'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
When it looked like he might be coming in JanuaryBefore Campbell was fit enough and we were playing Moore up too on his own with blaster in the side I thought Mcburnie would have fit that side perfectly
That reminds me of that video of him stomping on that phoneMcBurnie's only 29, physically he should be approaching the peak of his career. Only question for me is if he's calmed down off the field.
Queue shadowy images, bits of legs arms and then lights come on and music changes to return of the mac, and mcB is stood there rubbing hands together slow motion, staring down camera.Media team currently asking permission from Eminems record label to use...."guess who's back, back again"....in the promotion video

Easy this media lark.
(Although they used that tune with mcatee).
Although hes our striker he used to be our number 9, doesn't have the same ring to it.dubstep remix of intro to Spirit in the Sky intensifies
He played 34 games last yearIf you can keep him fit, he's an asset at this level.
But nobody has succeeded in keeping him fit.
If he'd never played for us, it wouldn't even be a debate. We'd all love a young Brian Deane type alongside Campbell but there's not many of those types I can think of with pace, power and can shoot with both feet. We've already got Campbell for some pace and McBurnie could work well off him. He's a decent player that last time in the championship scored 13 goals which is more than any other striker we have this season. He's a decent player and available. To me it's a no brainer.
Don't forget he'd be a culture carrier as wellWe'd all love a young Brian Deane type alongside Campbell but there's not many of those types I can think of with pace, power and can shoot with both feet. EXACTLY. Do something adventurous, exciting, take the game to the opposition.McBurnie is better than Moore no question..
..however..
He’s injury prone.
He doesn't score enough
It means we are doubling down on last season’s style of play and taking a ‘one more heave’ approach.
Why aren't we looking at quick powerful strikers that make the opposition defenders defend ten yards deeper as they worry about pace getting around the back?
Looks to me they're teasing a return given the number of posts about him.I do find it weird that our official club twitter is posting about him
It's what we do best mate, "look back".. to look forward it might mean getting rid of Wilder and trying something different, which unfortunately blades fans can't except... he's one of our own you knowSo McBurnie "helps" get Las Palmas relegated somehow in some peoples strange minds means he will get us into the Premier League. People on here have been visiting the fairies.
They post more about him than most of our own players.Looks to me they're teasing a return given the number of posts about him.
They will need to be replaced as and when, but if it’s 4-4-2 you already have Peck/Arblaster with Davies and O’Hare there, maybe get Choudhury. You’ve got Brooks and hopefully Cáceres as an option out wide so get two further wide options. What about when Hamer, Souza leave?
The divisiveness here is actually hilariousI'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
