Do you not think someone will come in for cooper? I think a big value move is incoming from our mates in West Yorkshire!!Cooper

Burrows
Brooks
Peck
Arblaster
?????
Campbell
Moore
Leeds are after a guy from Bayern Munich so I’m told by a couple of Leeds fans up here. Not sure they see Cooper as a Premier League ready keeper.Do you not think someone will come in for cooper? I think a big value move is incoming from our mates in West Yorkshire!!
Hope that’s the caseLeeds are after a guy from Bayern Munich so I’m told by a couple of Leeds fans up here. Not sure they see Cooper as a Premier League ready keeper.
Strong rumours Peck will be going
Brewster should not be offered a new contractI expect Dunne will be in there, still have Tom Davies, Wilder will keep Brewster too I think.
Agreed - no way should we keep him.Brewster should not be offered a new contract
Unfortunately, I expect Wilder to offer him terms,Brewster should not be offered a new contract
The only decision Wilder should be making is which door he walks out of this time.I expect Dunne will be in there, still have Tom Davies, Wilder will keep Brewster too I think.
Done nothing to justify signing him, looks a shadow of the player that was on loan last time.Unfortunately, I expect Wilder to offer him terms,
I cant see us spending massively eather, I also, after this seasons showing, wouldn't be paying Southampton anywhere near what they want for BBD, he hasn't exactly shone this time round, even though I think he's a decent player.
I'd look to keep Holding nd actually play him!Cooper - I think he needs another season with us.
Burrows - 50/50 of all the new signings he’s the one someone could gamble on.
CB x 1 - Robinson not good enough
CB x 2 - Anel will be off £15 mil should do it.
RB - Sereiki + 1 more wouldn’t mind Hamzah.
LM - X 1 - Hamer will go £25 mil should do it for the champs player of the year.
CM - Peck
CM - Arblaster
CM x 1 - Souza will go £20 mil should do it.
RM x 1 - JRS off back don’t renew.
CAM - O’Hare
ST - Moore
ST - Campbell
ST - One
ST - Cannon
If we can bring in £60 mil in sales and reinvest £30 then with what’s left and good signings we should be set to go again and dare I say it… even stronger
I don't think anyone is pinning their hopes on just those players, afterall, weve just paid £10m plus for Cannon, surely he's the man for next season! We’re f**ked part 2 - hence why we need wilder. But not necessarily his tactics. If the majority of the core of a team is Seriki, Peck, Arblaster and Burrows we are severely underestimating the need for experience. Let’s not get up our own arses about our younger players. They’re good, but, not let’s rest the hopes of automatic promotion/playoffs on them good.
No prem club, they will see he's a decent keeper but his kickings fucking atrocious!Do you not think someone will come in for cooper? I think a big value move is incoming from our mates in West Yorkshire!!
I completely agree. Souza and maybe Anel are the ones premier league clubs will be thinking about. There seems to be a widespread assumption that Hamer will be on his way, but on what basis?
Gus simply does not fit the profile. It isn’t sufficient in the top flight to be skilful. These days, skilful players also have to be powerful athletes - in fact, that factor seems to be more important than the skill element.
Pretty much every established Premier League side is full of tall, muscular, powerful, quick players. The likes of Palace, Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton are full of them. If anything, it is only the absolute elite teams - specifically Man City - who get away with playing some skilful players of relatively small stature, but that is because they can’t afford the very best world class footballers. And, even then they need the likes of Rodri in as a minder, otherwise they can become vulnerable.
Some fans were surprised that Berge was sought after by Premier League clubs, but they shouldn’t have been because his size gives him the sought after ability to cover the pitch effortlessly.
So, I’m not sure that Gus will necessarily be a target. A promoted side is perhaps the only likely suitor. But, I’m not sure he is what either Sunderland or Burnley will look for.
That leaves the Dirties. We know their CEO/Directors had a moan about not getting Hamer in Summer 2023, and then tried to nick him again in Summer 2024, so it can’t be put past them to come again…even if only through spite. It would be quite an expensive exercise if they just want to make a point, though.
Been saying this all season. If PL teams were actually interested, they'd have bought him last Summer. Not sure a good season in the Championship translates to PL success these days. It's not 1997 anymore and we've seen the gulf is now so big. There seems to be a widespread assumption that Hamer will be on his way, but on what basis?
