i watched radio sheffield clip of dan, who part of 4 blades in a pub podcast. im completely understand why he worried about next season. but if there is 1 thing i learnt very early on this year & weird its has alot of parallels with the play off final. is to forget about anything that might happen in August September & October. think of it as just go & try to wembley for 1st time in a 100 years & take it 1 day at a time

because to talk about my personal life for a rare moment. id made this mistake in romantic sense at the start of the year. (in hindsight) i was getting really well with this girl. we had loads of things in common. but every time i tried to approach the subject of a date. all i could think of was all the reasons why it would go wrong instead of taking it 1 step at a time & im hypothetically 6 months in relationship. she ended up with someone else. yes many things could go badly wrong next season. but it also could go very right & i can guarantee you. nothing kills you more than seeing someone else living your dream

You’re like me, you catastrophise things. Worst case scenarios come to pass because that’s our mindset, “of course it’s going to happen, it always happens to me”.

Only you can break that cycle. Take the chance, it might not go wrong. If you do what you always did, you’ll get what you always got.

The things we regret the most are the chances we never took. That regret can burn, I know all about that.

Linking to today, let’s break that cycle, let’s take that chance.

Up the Blades…

An overseas Blade already here. Looks like Blades fans treating this as a long day trip and Sunderland as their chance for a weekend away as Central London teaming with them last night - not a Blade in sight.

Come on Blades!! Gutted I can't be there, family and friends on their way down. Let's see them over the line and bloody do it this time. I've got 'We Took Pelham' on repeat! 💪

im confident we will win weve more match winners in our squad than them for a start keep mayender quiet and were in the premier league

Oh dear, so you've chosen to dismiss the tangibles, the things that are likely to have an impact tomorrow and settled on the thing that has no bearing whatsoever? 🤦 Come on man!
Yes! Because the truth is, no one knows. Big games like this always throw up the unexpected. One or more players from either side is quite capable of a heroic performance. The players have no idea, and neither do the managers.

All I can say is that I want Blades to win today. I’m biased. 😉

Why am I so nervous I don’t even want the premier league
Its really a catch 22 ,I as much as anyone wants us to be promoted because of the money we get which helps push the club forward in regards to the academy, training centre and recruitment.
Not so much about getting tonked every week.
As for nerves I know what you mean I'm sat here close to feeling physically sick .
Hey-ho I actually do hope we'll win and then hungrily search the Internet seeing who we're connected with.
But one thing I ask of the recruitment team is no elderly physically knackered players looking for a last payday or young players from top clubs on loan who are looking to use us to get close to ffp

Real now lads. Those that are there. Make us proud. Hopefully the team will follow suit.

You fill up my senses...

So 1hr to KO, I don't think will come out all guns blazing, but slow & methodical bit like the 2 Brizzle games, let Sunderland burn up the nervous energy.
