Will we sell out?

Not at all, been working.
If you go onto the ticket tout websites you can buy a ticket in any section you like at our side of the stadium
Well that’s irrelevant isn’t it? We’ve sold out our 35k allocation.
Tickets touts are also selling tickets in the Sunderland side too. I know it’s a bit of a leap but do you think they might be scamming or in some way untrustworthy?

Anyone buying will get their tickets, so it's not a scam exactly, the only scam is the prices, they are just ridiculous

Ah so the reason we and a Sunderland sold out was due to scammers snapping up the tickets? I guess they had the 200 loyalty points and had ST holders buying them for them?

Print at home makes buying resold tickets decidedly risky. They could resell the same ticket over and over. You'd have to be desperate to buy one.

Given it sounds like both us and Sunderland had single tickets available before going off sale i doubt that there's a large tout market for this game.

Nobody said that,
Ticketmaster, Stubhub, Seatpick etc always have tickets for these events. If tickets are available in the top tiers and at the ground level they cannot be sold out, these are tickets that are included in our allocation.

We've got three or four sections in the middle section that have been about two thirds sold which Club Wembley have made available, the rest of the middle sections will not have our fans in them, they are available to buy if anyone without points wants them, but I doubt that any will be sold at the price they are asking

It's incredible how poor the messaging our social team has been pumping out RE tickets has been. Every tweet about it has made it sound like we can't give them away for free.
You say that but it appears we've sold them all. Maybe the messaging helped keep them moving?

So your point is?...........
My point is that not all tickets allocated have been sold in both sides, we've given Sunderland some of ours even though they still have some left scattered about like we do. We might have sold 35,000 with the middle section tickets that have become available, but they are not all the 35,000 we were originally allocated

Does actually anybody give a fuck ?

So we got a certain allocation and some have been swapped out but we’ve sold what we had.

What’s the problem? It’s a sell out.

Should be a great atmosphere.

Anyone from the Dark side somehow looking for oneupmanship needs to listen to Wilder on Jamie Vardy when he’s talking about those in the pub saying they could have made it.

Well, what would coulda shoulda woulda sold if you got there. Well you didn’t. So shut up! 🤫

I think your point might have gone out the window now we’ve sold out, concentrate on us all being retarded and tell us why you hate Sheffield United fans so much again. It’s been a while.

I know of at least 8 tickets that have been won via comps in our end, some club Wembley seats some in the lower tier.
Now you've done it, it will be all over Porktalk that we only sold out because we had 10,000 tickets given away as prizes. In five years time it will be 25,000 and they'll all know someone who won one.

I've seen people mention on twitter that "even Charlton sold out", obviously as a stick to beat us with.

Friend is a Charlton fan going on Sunday. They were allowed to buy 4 tickets per member from the off. between him and his dad they are taking his wife, mum, brother, brothers wife, nephew & friend.

Tickets never went to general sale.

Not to mention the comparative logistical ease for Charlton fans, majority of which will not need to fork out a small fortune for accommodation or think about last trains home etc

It's a novel experience for other fans to go to Wembley but we have been many times in recent years. Our Season Ticket Holders thought it would be nice to give others a chance to experience Wembley. Unfortunately some other fans are not as generous UTB
..

There does seem to be a lot of these weirdos about nowadays (mainly Wednesday fans) who are absolutely obsessed with attendances, yet not remotely obsessed with understanding the why.

I can only assume it’s because they’re thick as fuck and have nothing else better going on in their lives, than to obsess over how many fans are attending games that doesn’t involve the club they support.

Add to that, the tickets look to be a decent percentage cheaper (aware Charlton seem to have 6 categories to our 5, but wonder if they have added a extra cat for standing area).

Nothing is comparable.

The flip side is that these tickets were not part of our allocation, so it's more Blades than have bought tickets

Northampton, Gillingham, and Millwall to name but three, have all taken bigger followings to Wembley than we will be.

Not sure what that proves though. Those clubs can only dream of our home attendances.

We'll be taking around 7,000 more fans to Wembley than have watched us at home this season.

I'm not sure what the prize is for finding more people to turn up for your big day out once every so many years.

I'd much rather have more turning up every other week.

As much as I'd like to see as many there supporting us tomorrow as possible, anything north of 30,000 is good enough for me.
