I was wondering if Saturday could be a record for the number of red and white shirts in a stadium at one match. Of course some Sunderland fans will wear away shirts but it should still look pretty impressive with red and white dominating Wembley.
Apparently the record for blue and white stripes was set in 2005 when Wednesday played Hartlepool and 125000 were crammed in Wembley and a further 60000 were locked outside. Apparently 2000 of this total were Hartlepool fans

Spotted my deliberate mistake there. I'm in my 70s and don't really pay too much attention to who and where Wednesday are playing and actually was living abroad at the time. I should have known though having been in Cardiff when we played Wolves

It’s a very red Wembley this year.

Us, Sunderland, Charlton, Orient, Walsall.

Only Wimbledon letting the side down.

Fixed it

Hearing next episode of Dr Who is the Tardis appearing at Hillsborough
