Will we sell out?

You do seem to get your knickers in a twist wether we sell out games or not.
There's 37 pages on the very subject, with many more totting up numbers and yet my post is one you choose to criticise! Bit odd.

I'm disappointed we probably won't sell out as would have been good to have the same number of fans there as Sunderland and shut up my Wednesday mates (being honest!). Loads on here are hoping for the same thing as ultimately be great to fill our allocation, regardless of the pointless fans/ city rivalry thing which should be irrelevant.

However, whilst we have sold out these finals before, I acknowledge we actually have done well as expected less sales considering failures before and peoples weariness of the place!

Wow!!!!
good effort in selling those additional £107 tickets that have popped up in section 123
There's only six left

Mind you, for every one of them sold it seems to add another available ticket to section 524

Got a mate who’s just managed to get some cover at work and is wanting to buy 8 tickets for himself and family. Is there a presumption that another block should be available imminently as only single seats remain. I understand wanting to fill the gaps but he will have 4 kids u see the age of ten with him.
Wow.. situations like this should least open the next block!

They all okay for customer numbers at least 4?

Under these circumstances It wouldn’t be difficult to add a preliminary button to order from blocks should they eventually open,That way demand could be assessed. and managed better instead of putting people off who clearly need to sit togeteher,.
Then if these blocks did’nt open but seats became available elsewhere they could be offered to those fans.

31.5k sold as yesterday

That’s incorrect.

We were allocated just over 35.5K.

So where are the other 4,000 seats?
Section 525 holds 1,118 seats
Section 526 is smaller as the TV gantry is there and it hold 832 seats.
Then there about 50 seats left in the other sections.

So that’s about 2K tickets left

Means we’ve sold 33.5K to date.

He’s going to hang fire and hope for another block, the block has now been eaten into again and he’s hoping for a more mid priced seat. Hope they open up the next block soon.

Brill, I’ll give him a shout, he sent screenshots of what was left 45mins ago and that block looked nothing like, guess folks are still putting seats in baskets and then not purchasing.

That’s not the case because they would then be randomly spread out.

This morning Wembley released a thin rectangular block of 108 seats all on the half way line next to the Sunderland fans. Assume they’ve made the netted over section (for segregation) smaller.

Every chance some of those who swore off going may change their mind now it’s nearer the time and we’re close to a sell out 🤞🏼

Agree as the excitement and confidence builds you’ll find quite a few battle weary old timer season ticket holders changing their minds at the last minute.

I think the cup final scenes may have got a few of them thinking about their stubborn attitude. People who can't afford it or are otherwise engaged have nothing to rethink about but a fair few on here were saying they weren't going due to the previous completely unrelated sides not winning here 🤯

There are only 19 random tickets left

If they haven't opened section 525 and 526 yet, I feel they have no intention of doing so

It is quite obvious that people are putting tickets in the basket and not paying for them in the hope that something better comes along, hedging their bets.

Either buy the ticket, or release it,
It is quite obvious by now that no further sections will be opened until every seat has gone

With respect to previously sold out blocks having seats reappear - I hope they haven’t fucked up with seat allocation, and we have people turning up for the same bloody seats having been sold twice!!

Now I’m gonna be checking my seat all week to make sure it doesn’t appear on the available list 🤣

It's next to the blades if you veiw it at the right angle pitch in front ,

I wonder if a block is opened, if United have to pay for the tickets even if they aren't sold, due to staffing/stewarding requirements?

Just a sad practical thought, that as a lot of my posts tend to go down.

In that case, United wont want to open blocks if they arent confident of selling a high percentage.

They may be able to give full blocks or sell the blocks to Sunderland.
