If the kickoff is at 17:30, I’ve got train tickets for the 19:57 from King’s Cross. What should I do if the match goes to extra time—leave early or spend the night at King’s Cross?" Train was £116 ticket £57 booze for day £50 don't want to spend another £100 on hotel.

Cant be sky holding it up...there's no other games on, so any time works for their schedule, i'd imagine 430/5/530 would be their preference. Seems very odd
The champions league final1000001959.gif is at 5pm. If you've paid money for the rights to it, you wouldn't want another game on at the same time I'd imagine.

But what difference is the kick-off time moving between 3 and 5.30 going to make to any of that?
We'll kick off at 1730 and Sunderland will kick off at 1500 to save congestion. Were only going for the disappointment anyway, so they can go there, get the win and be away by the time we arrive.

NBC know the time….3pm

How to watch

They won`t have the win by then though - and at least we'll know how many we need to score to win!

You won't catch the 19:57 train anyway, extra time or not if it's a 17:30 ko.

I'm hearing rumours that the game will kick off at exactly twelvety sincobene on saturday, ignore all those ridiculous 2pm, 3pm, 17:30 shouts.

How is this not major national news? It's a disgrace. They're gonna have 70,000 northerners stuck in London with no way home at this rate
It was mentioned on the BBC local news this morning. Surprisingly there has been no mention of it at all on Sky Sports News. I guess that speaks volumes as to where the issue lies.

If you type in
Sky Football then click scores & fixtures, go along to Saturday May 24th and it says
Sheffield united v Sunderland
Kick off 12 am!

If it was Londoners it would have been all over the news because they all have to travel in from Essex ( non left in London)
