Any of them pissed stood on a table mocking a fellow professional int boozer?

Not on same level mate, but if your comfortable with it then fine

But I would note that most “view froms” don’t like Wilder & we seem divided - probably summat in it
See my post #415 as above

Don’t have a problem with him calling somebody out, that cov twat who got Anel sent off etc
Kinda get sandwich ref ish😂

Sausage rohl, whilst funny is also cringy and a bit non league

I will not be happy with another season in the Championship but on our performances this season I cannot see how we could survive in the Premier League. We are well behind Leeds and Burnley in terms of ability and tactics, and just watching Match of the Day shows how the standard of play in the PL now is even slicker and faster than two years ago. Another season in the Championship could be what we need in reality, enabling us to get injured players back (including maybe Souttar) and regroup as a team.

I don't think getting promoted would even be about "staying up." That's a far fetched scenario for most promoted clubs these days.

Leeds are likely to throw 100s of millions at it, and even then they will likely struggle to reel in Wolves / Palace / Brentford / Everton etc.

We need promotion, as we need the money to improve our off field infrastructure, to maintain our "yo-yo club" status and hopefully, eventually, have the foundations to make a proper go of it.

Whoever goes up next season will likely struggle for 30 points, never mind 40.

It was funny as fuck and caused the biggest meltdown in Sheffield football history. They're still crying about it now. The "we've ended your season" rant was also gold and proved true. This was in response to herr sausage's "see you in March" and "the data says we should've won" by the way. I feel sorry for anyone that wasn't buzzing about it all, and hasn't pig baiting with it. That's what football's all about.

So pig baiting is ok but when the opposition do it to us, our manager should kick off on the pitch?

It's all ok. It's beyond me what you're crying about. It's all brilliant. I'd say it's a bit different with United and Wednesday mind you. We have these these things called rivalries you see.

I can guarantee you that he did. His whole persona was the complete antithesis of Wilder. Passion with class. That was Wenger. No loutish behaviour. He knew what is was to be an ambassador of his football club. Sadly our current management doesn't.

I accept what you say about Wenger overall by the way. Yet he had major run ins with Mourinho and countless referees.

£265,500 in fines up to now with the possibility of playing Coventry and/or Bristol City in the playoffs who we have already had brawls with. Never mind get to Wembley with excellent TV coverage and have a real good brawl to get the fines total well over the half mill mark and drag the club's reputation down further. Oh and as usual loose the final. Any chance another points deduction?

I've often thought it would be fun to see football managers behave a bit like boxers in the pre game pressers, instead of being all complementary and nicey nicey, start giving the opposite manager some shit, have a pop at the oppo players too, even the chairman -give him some too. Wilder can start the trend with Burnley, something like " most boring team in the league, the towns a shithole, and Scott Parker needs to change his shitty green coat everyone once in a while", then throw in a "we are gonna kick the shit out of these" to proper unsettle them.

Aren't you a ray of sunshine. I hope you won't be spreading that positivity in the play offs 😜

None of the teams that go up will survive. They will just try to avoid "records".
That has become the reality.

Ipswich at times have played some decent football with a good manager.

It’s done them fuck all good though

Also missed him moaning about the length of the grass and the hard pitch when we beat them at the Lane 1-0. His refusing to give us home advantage after his cheating team beat us in the Cup and they were embarrassed into giving us a replay. That's the thing with unhinged Wilder haters: they see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear.

Any evidence of this 'fighting' yet?
Both teams under investigation so if there is any evidence it will come to light.

Regardless, our disciplinary record this season hasn’t been the best

I agree, but the logical jump would be that the players have been pushing and shoving for the umpteenth time this season. I wouldn't use the word 'fighting' even for the players actions which are well documented. It's hardly MMA.

I do think we've become a soft target for these fines. There was a bit of something yesterday and I was thinking ffs walk away or that's another £.....

In my opinion, there is bias (conscious and unconscious) in how the game is run from the top right down to grass roots for many reasons, whether it’s because you’re Chris Wilder or a Sheffield team playing in a Rotherham league

100%
Great point.
The amount of times you hear "very physical side" and "won't back away from a challenge" said about us and there's no wonder that portrays an image to a mass Sky audience and to the football community in general. You just have the read a few "Views from" to see that. Even last year when we were as weak as piss we were laughably still considered as a "fighting" team.
A large percentage of matches will have a bit of pushing and shoving etc but when it happens with us, (as with this incident), it'll be replayed again and again with the "pundits" desperately looking for something to be outraged about.
A good few posters here have fallen for it along with a few of our resident snobs. Commentary regarding how someone speaks or where and with who they socialise is nothing more than snobbery; something I'd never have traditionally associated with our club.

From the pages of Private Eye - Glenda Slagg
Chris Wilder - dontcha luv him? What a gentleman, always complimentary about the opposition and their fans in his pre- and post- match pressers, it's a mystery as to why other teams' fans don't like him - that's what Glenda is reading, and it stinks!!!! Passion and praise is a sure-fire winner for this gal! Give that man a ham and cheese sandwich!!!????

Chris Wilder - watta loser!!! Slovenly, picking fights with everyone from sailors in Devonport to Lord Danny of Greggs in South Barnsley, never mind the supporters of his own club!!!??? Beating his chest, standing on tables, swilling Peroni, dropping points and dropping trophies - get him gone NOW!!!! In fact, send him down the salt mines and let's never see him again!

Glenda's Men of the Match:
Gus Hamer - you can slide one between my legs any day, chubby boy!
Sydie Peck - forget a peck on the cheek, I want a smacker right on the lips!!!???!!!!
Ben Brereton-Diaz - Chile? Let Glenda keep you warm, beardie!!!

Byeeeeee!!!!

Warnock knew how to hold a knife and fork too!
So did David Weir and Nigel Adkins.

I think the managers should be allowed to have a post match boxing fight in the centre circle. The winner gets a bonus point.

It's the future of football I say.
Based on this season there'd be a lot of holding, few knockouts if any, but plenty of split decision wins.

No it's not, football is all about class. I'm only interested in playing classy football, with a manager and players who appear classy. The fans should also be classy so as to impress other fans.

More than that though, I only want to be around classy people. Not people who drink in pubs, not people who loudly sing songs in public, not people who say what they think. We are better than that, and it embarrasses me to be associated with this underclass, chav shit. I've spent my life looking down on people like that, can't have it tarring my reputation.
