Wilder fighting with Plymouth players in tunnel

It may have been handbags - but we have made it easy for the EFL to hammer us. Incoming £15k fine for Plymouth - circa £200k for us.

Sorry - this is 100% in Wilder and his staff - and the players. In particular our Captain should be getting a grip. No excuses given our record this season……and it’s not over yet!!!

Thread should be deleted as it shouldn't be the done thing to slander people. Especially our our own manager. Those making this claim have had ample time to present their evidence:

OED "fighting":

noun
the action of fighting; violence or conflict.
"terrible fighting broke out in the streets"

adjective
displaying or engaging in violence, combat, or aggression.
"he was a fighting man"

A lot of apologies are needed...
Agree, apart from the slander bit. It's libel, as it's in written form. But some fookin reyt snowflakes inhabit this forum.

It’s all a load of nothing though isn’t it?

They’re charging us for absolutely anything end everything now.

What do they want some drab, passionless spectacle?

But again it’s the consistency. The dust up at the end of WBA and Burnley. Absolutely nothing done apart from Parker getting a touchline ban for one game. They even reversed a key red when Egan-Riley kicked at their man.

Not all teams are judged equally that’s for sure.

Time to get Nick Di Marco on it to tell the FA to get a better fucking hobby than thieving from Sheffield United every time there’s a few handbags.

Are they short of their Christmas party collection or something? We already started on -2 whilst they achieved the grand total of fuck all when it came to punishing Leicester who seemed to get out of punishment by EFL and PL on a technicality.

There was obviously no fight but the poor loser kicked off at the Plymouth players and started all this nonsense.

Embarrassing from Wilder.

As you are posting on this thread Chris.
Your time is up but thanks for the good times pre covid.

We’re not having Sausage Rohl off you pal, if that’s what you’re going to suggest!!

I would like to see CW do an interview where he says

“this is on me, I confronted Plymouth players, shouted into the crowd and incited the whole incident, I’ll take whatever punishment is due personally, but the buck stops with me and not the players or club”

Because that’s the truth

Wilder ignores it and nothing happens

Don’t hide behind passhun, got it in for us or they were goading fans

Time to stand up and take one for the team Chris

They have now changed the rules to remove the technicality that Leicester took advantage of, which is all they were able to do under the circumstances.

Exactly the issue. Football rules have been in place for 150+ years. Football is a multi-million dollar business yet they still manage to write rules that are incomplete and can be exploited. It’s incredibly amateurish.

Never understood why they wrote rules saying don’t do something, they can’t explicitly write what the punishment is. They had issues with QPR before whom they heavily fined and Wolves who have yet to return to the EFL when they must have smashed FFP. Yet years later they are still leaving gaps between PL and EFL.

It’s incredibly incompetent.

Then West Ham, caught cheating, carried on cheating. We pay late, but do pay and they can’t wait to lob points off.

It stinks.

The sheer amount of times we've been charged is a piss take. And not one of them hasn't been warranted.

We all want to see passion, but that is well over million in fines alone surely?

Just look like muppets

I don’t think it’s as much as a million yet but I do know that if I had employees who were consistently costing the company significant amounts of money by repeating the same fuck ups and not learning from them they would be gone.

I confronted Plymouth players, shouted into the crowd and incited the whole incident
'turned round to see what was happening, might have if that 7 secs of film proved anything and certainly didn't'.

Shouldn't have got involved though. Should have known better

Careful, you'll have the pitchfork carrying Wilder Crew after you for comments about common sense and emotional intelligence...

A mate of mine was stood 5ft away from where it all happened, said it was all Wilder.
The man can’t take it and is not a ‘leader’. Get him gone.

It's worse than WWF, Wilder may as well get dressed up as Jake the snake Roberts for the Cardiff game... pushing them in full knowledge they won't do anything.

If a chubby bloke knocking on 60 pushed those lads in the street he'd be eating his dinners through a straw for the next six months

If he hasn’t got video proof he’ll be accused on here of being an unhinged psychotic Wilder hater and a member of a shady group* that sees pashun, ego, mardiness and an often lack of self awareness as a bad thing for a Blades manager.

*next meeting 8pm tomorrow, Park Hotel. Not you Zero Dark Cabbage. You can fuck off.

Every week argyle have a you tube video called tunnel cam. This week it stopped not showing players returning after match. Suggests there will be additional video evidence at hearing.

How can people defend Wilder on here? Where's his class? Where's his dignity? He can't even speak properly. Watch how he says 'opportunity'. It's embarrassing. The club should send him to a finishing school over the summer. I dread to think how he holds his knife and fork. The owners need to step up to the plate. If he carries on drinking, swearing and fighting then he just needs to go. Bring somebody in with a touch of decorum. For heaven's sake what's happening to our football club?
You're not a big fan of him are you. I'd never have guessed.

To answer some of your questions. Depends how you define class I suppose. But he had the class to take us from languishing in league one for six seasons up to the premier league where he was classy enough to get us to a ninth place finish.
Dignity? Well how many managers fit that profile? Speaking properly? You ever listen to Roy Hodgson? Wonder if he had to go to a finishing school before he got the England manager job? What's holding a knife and fork got to do with being a football manager? Howard Kendal liked a few beers. So did Bryan Robson. Both weren't averse to using the f word either.
So let's get this straight, you want a classy dignified manager who speaks with eloquence. Who has superb table manners. Doesn't drink. Doesn't swear and is a pacifist. Oh and he must have been to a finishing school. Though I thought finishing schools were for prepubescent high class school girls. Shows how much I know then doesn't it!
Anybody know any prospective manager who fits this criteria? If you do let our American owners know.
Mention Chris the Blade. I'm sure they'll take notice.

So we're now at the place where the manager who plays the 'connection' card as part of his playbook is now splitting the fan base.

It is possible to disagree with his methods and behaviours and still support 'the football club' in 'games of football'.

More charges coming and possibly more fines under the lead 'culture carrier'.

If they're anything like other American business owners, they'll have prepared for a number of scenarios.

Chris and isn't helping himself or us in whats gone on in recent weeks.
The past is just that. The run to the PL first time was incredible but we live in the now.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out but think we've seen enough to know that, if we do go up, we need a change.

The club was, in reality, 'connected' all along. We didn't all just decide that we'd had enough, we were just tired of having our a*s*s handed to us every week, but it is definitely part of Chris's playbook and 'narrative'.

It only works for so long though.

“if you can’t change the man, change the man”

We saw it when he jumped ship last time, now dancing on tables pissed, ranting on interviews and kicking off at oppo players for celebrating a huge win for them

Will be box office for all the wrong reasons in Prem should we make it

We can’t change the man
Time to change the man

But, apparently that's all ok as he's 'one of our own'.

Agreed.

So the most successful manager we've had over the last 15 years you want to change.
Yeah that makes sense.
Yep.
Makes perfect sense to me.
We have for the most part played boring football, which admittedly got us points until the luck ran out or we got found out what ever you want to call it.
He has no plan B other than to swap strikers around.
Under his management he's cost us a record amount of fines, which not only has cost us alot of money its also embarrassing.
The scenes in the Pub after the Derby game singing about a fellow a professional manager, again embarrassing to the club.

Many of your past posts have all made sense to you.
But you have been the only one they've all made sense to.

What have I posted that doesn't make sense ?

Are you happy with 0 points from 3 games against poor opposition ?

Will you be happy with another season in the Championship after being in the top two for most of the season ?

Are you happy with the type of football we are playing ?

If we did go up would you be happy for Wilder to still be in charge in the Premiership ?

Does Wilder actually have a plan B especially when teams get everybody back behind the ball ?

Are you happy with the amount of charges bought against the club and the fines we have received ?

Are you happy about the manager of the club you support singing in pubs about a fellow professional manager ?
