Now he’s lost the plot after 3rd loss.

What worries me about his post match today and midweek is he seems to think we are in control of games, playing well,, need to go again with more of the same.

If it’s working don’t fix it but if it I’d broken don’t do same agin. Our performances apart from Coventry and Middlesbrough have been 4/5 out of 10 all season. We get away with it becausevresults tell a different story.

Read the posts, it's not just to do with thr recent results. It's the poor team selections, poor subs, only having one formation and set of tactics, no plan B, players not lasting 60 minutes all season, Wilder taking plaudits when we win then skulking away of having a go at others instead of accepting blame, constant square pegs in round holes, playing Robinson after his recent costly errors, relying solely on luck, grinding out undeserved results, only putting in 5 good 90 minute performances in 42 matches.

It's more than just the last 3 results. Many of these complaints have been made and highlighted all season, but those that did got shot down by the "results matter, not performances" brigade. Now that we're not winning anymore others are starting to see what others have been saying all season.

Wilder is not Sheffield United. He's far from the manager who took over 9 years ago. He's become predictable, stale and negative.

Yes, he's done well to get us up as high as he has, but the argument will always be if he got a consistent tune out of these players, would we be better off. The answer is yes.

No one is willing us to lose. No one is wanting Wilder to fail. But many can see past the red and white biase. Wilder has run out of ideas and it's become obvious when the managers of Oxford, Milwall and now bottom of the table Plymouth have outdone him tactically and Wilder hasn't had a clue what to do midgame to change things. His comments post Oxford ignored the fuse for many.

But it is how we play ffs. It is shit absolute garbage. Awful to watch and Wilder has since promotion to the PL just relied on defending !! a sort of northern George Graham without the quality of players Graham had at Arsenal.

That is his undoing. JH, DB and NW would attack teams but CW just wants to win 1-0 each time. Weve lost nearly a quarter of our games. That is very poor for a team going for promotion. At best we should have picked up 3 points in our last three games (3 x 1) not lost them all. Indeed I would argue this is the mot unattractive promotion chasing SUFC side in 60 years. Absolutely awful entertainment.

He's done a good job but then he does have the 3rd best squad in the league at his disposable and been allowed to spend a good chunk of cash and get some high profile loans in (JRS, Souttar, BBD).

And yet we have no discernable style of play. We aren't a creative possession based team, nor are we a counter attacking team, or a high pressing team. We're just very conservative and look to edge games with the individual quality we have and rely on moments. If we get promotion this season then next season will be just the same as last with Wilder in charge. He's yesterday's man. A passion merchant. I love what he did for the club in his first spell (until the end). But this version is a shadow of the manager he was before and if the club wants to progress on and off the pitch then change is needed in the summer.

I know you’re a young lad and probably still idolise the likes of Wilder, in reality he’s a bit of a tit. If he weren’t a Blade he’d get a lot less rope than he does at present. Wilder deserves incredible credit for picking a club off it’s arse from last season and making them competitive. You look at Luton and with the wrong manager that could have been us quite easily. The spirit he’s put back in the team following last season can’t be overlooked.

The argument against him is that we have played well about 4 times this season. All the close games we won earlier in the season are now going the other way. The last 3 games haven’t been much different to what we have seen all season but the opposition are taking their chances and we aren’t taking ours. I don’t believe we have “fallen off a cliff”, I just think performances are catching up with results. Getting in the play-offs is a great achievement from what we all expected last May but from January onwards we have been in the top 3 spenders in the league. I have massive sympathy for Wilder losing Souttar and Blaster but with the money we have spent, and the squad we have, the performances have been poor on the most part and we are now seeing the results reflect the displays.

It’s a tough one. Wilder rebuilt us from a really low position but given the players we have now, the performances have been poor.
