Wilder has lost his head. I don't even see us beating Cardiff.
Agreed, not sure how contracts are structured but would we pay out more if he got binned now vs end of season? Plus who realistically are we going to be able to get to replace and is that person going to be able to do anything different with an inherited squad. At the moment we could be swapping out 6-7 players depending on what we do with the loans and any other departures. That’s a big chunk of this current squad

Come off it lads. I'm as pissed off with Wilder as anyone and I didn't want him back, but you can't change your manager at this stage when you're third by a fair chunk of points.

I don't think he'll get us up but I doubt whoever we could bring in would either. I guess there's the slight argument if we're mathematically out of Autos before Burnley then bring someone in and give them 2 games pre play-offs

Why not?

Could be 4 points third by end of the day and the way we’re looking wouldn’t be surprised if we dropped into 4th unless something changes quick time

Fair but I don't think it matters too much whether we're 3rd or 4th. Both 5th and 6th will be on similar form.

The question is. Could sending everyone on holiday for a week, play the U-21s, and then go again be any worse than bringing a new manager in?

Because Sunderland are world fuckin beaters. I despair
Playing better than we are at the moment. If I was a betting man on recent form I know who I would have my money on to finish third. Especially when we still have Burnley away to play!

The question is:

If we were to be promoted by any means, would you want Wilder in charge?(considering the last 3 results, oh and let's not forget Leeds and Hull at home were beyond dire)

How can we expect to compete against Premier League teams when we lose to utter tripe now?
How did Liverpool get on against Plymouth in a game that mattered 10000% fucking less with less hype around it? Asking for the bed wetters....

Is sticking with him going to work?
I mean, he's overperformed in terms of results until the last 3 games. Yes, we're in a slump, but it seems madness to sack your manager when autos are still up for grabs.

We said sacking Robins was mad and yet happy to sack our own, regardless of what a tit he is.

Autos are not up for grabs.

We could be closer to 4th then 2nd in an hour

Win the last 4 and there's a good chance we'll go up. It might look unlikely at the moment but football changes really quickly, as we're seeing.

Beat Burney and we play the team with the worst league form who's fans would rather lose 10-0 to us and keep Burnley down while Burney entertain Millwall last game at home having to play Ashley Barnes because Taylor is injured and Fleming can't play.

That's as close to a 0% likelihood as you can get

More chance of me winning the lottery.

Let’s be realistic we aren’t going to change manager at this stage are we. I don’t think calling for him out is helpful to anyone. I’m just as frustrated and angry with the last 3 results as anyone else but we just need to get behind them going into the playoffs.

If we don’t go up then I agree he needs to go as it would need some fresh eyes and ideas, but now isn’t the time to be calling for it.

Who else is there?

We did this before getting rid of Wilson and Morgan didn't work out.
Anybody but Wilder.
Because we aren't winning the play offs with Wilder, infact I wouldn't back us to even make it to the final with Wilder in charge.

Roberto Di Matteo winning the FA Cup and Champions League at Chelsea?
Good shout, if we are throwing names out there a bit of a risk but Boa Morte was the assistant to Silva at Everton and Fulham. Fulham have been gradually going about their business and improving season on season potentially Europe next season the way they are going.

Thing is we've looked awful in a lot of games we've won too. It wouldn't be so bad if we lost some games but had played well in them.. but I don't think we can say that's the case at all.

Dropping O'hare for ages, playing Diaz over Rak-Sakyi on the right, spunking 10 Mill on Cannon and gambling on Holding for CB after losing Souttar.. giving Brewster chance after chance.. treating Brooks like shit. Too many errors for me.

Our goal difference is embarrassing for 3rd place.. is it record breakingly bad I wonder?

I think the last few games have shown he has lost the dressing room to be honest.

Many players look like they are going through the motions.
It does look like something has gone off.
Although I have always said he dosent have a plan B.

Automatic promotion is 11/2 on Sky Bet. I know it's unlikely but Burnley are away to Watford and then away to us next two games. They could easily drop 3-5 points.

We are not getting 6 points more than Burnley or Leeds from the last 4.

I'm firmly in the get him gone boat now. I don't think real progress is possible with him at the helm, and he's seriously putting promotion in jeopardy now.

I think he's lost the dressing room tbh, players are better than this, get shut and the players will be released, Wonder if the crowd will be down on Friday
