he club became embroiled in deep financial trouble. Rumours persisted of personal financial difficulties as Jordan faced cash flow problems relating to wage payments at the club in November and December2009.

Sound Faniliar

60 year old has been thinks Wednesday are a big club. And yes I am disrespecting all 60 year olds reading. I'm disrespecting you to the max
That’s not disrespectful tbh - I have a very high ceiling

For example , Nick told me to Fk off , then to Fk off again yesterday and I barely looked up from my corn flakes

I like listening to him however he doesn't like wilder which he has stated on several occasions , nothing wrong with that as he's entitled to his opinion.
Stating Leeds are "bigger" is actually true enough, wouldn't argue with that , adding Burnley into the mix is a bit disrespectful to Burnley more than anything .
It is however like saying Palace , Chelsea and Fulham combined aren't as big as Man Utd ... you could make a case but it's pretty irrelevant.
Who cares which clubs are bigger? I’d much rather be better then bigger.

Strange he’s decided to die on that hill anyhow, because he made his platform on Talksport to rally against people and clubs feeling entitled.

If it was all about simply how big you are then his beloved Palace would never have got anywhere near the PL at all.

The older you get the more you realise that unless it’s those closest to you, the opinion of others matters not one iota.

I don’t generally mind him though he didn’t like it when Wilder left and it’s stuck with him. But Simon’s a failed football club Chairman who nearly sunk Palace.

So in the words of Rob Staton on twitter and probably someone more famous before him -

The Lion does not concern itself with the opinion of the sheep.

I can't believe people are still getting wound up by talkSPORT presenters in 2025.

They just say anything to get clicks/listeners/viewers/callers.

Proper Wednesday lover that Jordan.

Was he Palace chaiman or linked with Palace when Palace relegated the pigs... and the pig fans were kidney punching Palace players up when the game finished ?

Apparently Leeds are bigger than us and Burnley combined and we’re “not even the biggest club in Sheffield”

Not really bothered about what he thinks because we all know it’s not the early nineties anymore and he’s wrong, but of course they’re lapppng it up over on Porktalk.

No, what I was wondering was if anybody has any idea why he seems to dislike United so much?

It’s not just him constantly bigging up the pigs but his active dislike of United.

Remember when Billy Sharp got assaulted? Somehow that was our fault.

Tevez? Our fault again.

Wrexham? All us.

He just seems to have a real bee in his bonnet about us. He can’t stand us.

What have we ever done to him?
He doesn’t like Wilder and he’s always said he’d like to buy Wendy’s…So there you have it.

Latest Talk Sport phone in "out of the top 3 clubs in the Champs, who you rather go up" cue thousands of pig fans phoning in

Spot on! Man United are bigger than Manchester City but over the last decade City have 6 PL titles to their name to United’s nil. City have been by far the better club in recent times and the fact that Man United are considered to be bigger is completely irrelevant to most fans…Wednesdayites excepted.

Tbf he’s probably right, certainly about Leeds, Wednesday been in Europe etc, I get they’ve been dross for years but we’ve not exactly set world a light, don’t think he has an agenda against us tbh just move on.

The idiots idea of an intelligent person. A load of white van men hanging off his every word until he says something against their club and the scales fall from their eyes and they realise he is a wealthy buffoon and who ingested a thesaurus between sunbed sessions.

File under “who gives a toss?”.

Spot on. He's a Sun reader icon. Talks posh so of course they think he is their superior. Fcking mugs 🤣🤣

It’s obvious why Jordan said that Wednesday are the bigger club. As all things Talksport, it’s all about provoking the listeners in order to generate telephone calls.

He’s not stupid and will be fully aware that ;

(a) United fans are more likely to own a phone
(b) United fans are more likely to own a radio and know how to turn it on
(c) Even if they could rob a phone…..trotters?
