Is that second one actually Meslier’s fault? Only seen one angle but seems a decent shot. Don’t care either way though![]()
Yes, any half decent keeper would save that. Messlers cost then massive amount of points, how many has Cooper cost us?Is that second one actually Meslier’s fault? Only seen one angle but seems a decent shot. Don’t care either way though![]()

We've no reason to celebrate, but the more fun we can have along the way, the betterI'm celebrating nowt until we get promotion signed off ourselves...
Exactly, Pride before a fall. Nothing achieved at this moment in time.I'm celebrating nowt until we get promotion signed off ourselves...
Yeah the Burnley game will loom a lot less large if we can get 12 points from the next 4!I’d still caveat the fact there are no easy games in the Championship.
But the remaining fixtures have us with that one Burnley fixture and no other team inside of the top ten. Average league position of the opposition drops to 15.57 after yesterday’s results.
The point here is not that we have some better fixtures, it’s that we’ve got to 83 (85*) points from 39 games despite having played a harder set of fixtures, average placing 12.54.
The other way to look at this is if we were offered to have played most of the top teams and needed to have a decent haul against 4 of the bottom 7 teams, 2 mid table teams and only one top six team, we’d have snatched your hand off.
That Burnley game looms large but there are still enough points on offer to bypass 100 points even if we took nothing from that game.
I don’t think they will both lose! But more likely a couple of draws - so still a big incentive for to win & go 4pts clear. And then the following midweek games - Burnley are at Derby with Leeds at Boro - so I could see potential pts dropped again. So if we can win at home v Millwall we could be 6pts clear of whoever is in 3rd - before what I think will be our next fixture away at a tricky match v Plymouth.Yeah the Burnley game will loom a lot less large if we can get 12 points from the next 4!
10/10 for alliteration!loom a lot less large
Oh those bloody 2 points deductedAs much as I would love Leeds to crash and burn, from our own self interest I felt we needed Burnley to drop away at some point. However remarkable our points tally, still just one result away from missing the automatics. Incredible really.
