If I was from Coventry I’d go on holiday to Page Hall
Have they mentioned their half destroyed cathedral being lovely, again, yet?

This, that you posted after the Coventry away match in November, is still the funniest thing I've ever seen on this forum the internet:

Now I'm looking at it again, I'm sitting here giggling away to myself. It's brilliant!

🤣🤣🤣

I don’t think Sunderland are better than them, about the same level. The fact is the top 3 are significantly better than everyone else.
OK. I respect your opinion.

Sunderland are 10 points better off than them with a game in hand, though.

If that's not 'better', I don't know what is.

We'll see.

I think I might just Google which is the only city in Britain to have a third of its territory in the country’s most popular National Park.. I think might find out it’s not Coventry.
It's hardly Sheffield either is it you balloon (said from the other end of the Snake Pass
You have just brought drunken rage to a fact fight mate..

The built up area of Sheffield which people understand to be the city of Sheffield isn't. It's not in the national park regardless. Even places like Buxton and Ashbourne aren't but apparently Sheffield is 😂

Keep digging.. you are making yourself look very foolish

Just because you were conceived on Helvellyn doesn't mean you know everything there is to know about National Parks of the UK.

Shithole? Can I remind you of the posh end of Sheffield being Page Hall?

Enjoy your win. Hope you get promoted. Can't be bothered with these oneupmanship load of lies though
What is it with your obsession with Page Hall? Why not go on about Parkhead, Whirlow, or Fulwood? Page Hall may not be very desirable, but then since I've been down south I've lived in (amongst others) Canning Town (scary), Forest Gate (beyond scary), Haggerston (gun crime central), and Stanwell (Viola Avenue, no less, which makes up 50% of the content on Surrey Live - I give you The Tesco Terrorist, the discovery of live hand grenades in someone's property, and the police helicopter paying more visits than Mr. Whippy).

And none of it matters one bit, because I had a great time living in ALL those places.

Oh Dear .

Before this post you were showing yourself to be a bit of a fool . Now you have proved it beyond all reasonable doubt .

Sheffield is widely recognised as having some of the most attractive suburbs of any city in England and those admirers include the poet John Betjamin

Areas like Ranmoor and the Mayfield Valley are unsurpassed by virtually any other city in the country , but if you would like to believe that Coventry is a more attractive place to live then I can only sympathise .

Your defence is about the best we've seen all season but you prefer to reduce it in aid of point scoring.

Be proud of your team. They're better than the uneducated have a clue about.
Good points in this and your other posts. Can't think of a team that hasn't suffered injuries and the loss of key players, us included.
Early in the season we lost our young midfielder, Arblaster, which at the time we considered to have a really detrimental impact on our season.
Happily some of our other youngsters have stepped up and acquitted themselves admirably, most obviously Sydie Pike, who although still learning continues to show great promise. Your ex-player, Hamer, is obviously someone who can make things happen, and although he's sometimes guilty of petulance is more likely to be a game changer and can do the unusual and create chances for his team-mates.

As for your point about being proud of our team, we are, which is why tonight's crowd, almost 31,000, turned up in numbers to watch us.

Thought Coventry looked decent first 20 minutes.

No they didn't, all they did, on the few occasions they had the ball was hoof it and when that didn't work they just kept doing it.
A few around me were chatting on the Kop.
We all agreed that Coventry were the better team in the centre circle area
So the game's going on, we're playing fast flowing football and all across the Kop there are conversations going on about who's bossing the 'centre circle area'??? Fuck me, I wish I'd been there now, that sounds absolutely spiffing 🙆🙆🙆

It seemed to me the problem was, the Coventry players aren’t good enough to play the way they were trying playing against a team like us.

Some nice passing and moving but we just broke it up and countered with pace.

The weren’t fast or strong enough to break us down and the defence isn’t good enough when the attack loses the ball high up.

To be fair, Sky Blues has been nothing other than sound and respectful. What you'd want from an opposition fan on your forum - here to engage in chat, without being on the obvious wind up.

I've nothing against Cov at all. Probably helped by living local to them too, but for the last few years their recruitment has been brilliant, and they've tried to play the right way, good attacking football, and within a good recruitment and resale model. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Add into that that their fans have been put through a load of shite that wasn't of their own making and that no fans should need to endure, when the footy is meant to be light relief and an escape, outside of life's tribulations.

I get that they won't be too fond of us for the Hamer and O'Hare reasons. I wouldn't like seeing N'Diaye at another side in the same league, and especially if I though he should be at a higher level. But other than that, I wish them well and hope they go up, just not at our expense!

I think it was more the whistles/tennis ball game that has made Cov fans not too fond of SUFC rather than them being our feeder club.

Our defence didn’t have to defend a single pass in behind. Nothing even really hooked down the lines. Just a nice simple lofted pass into Wright who looked like he had never touched a football before last night.

I said to my mate after the game that if I was a Cov fan at the game, I'd be thinking, we haven't actually played bad and could have got beat 5 or 6.

Definitely one of our best all round performances of the season, particularly at the Lane, up there with the Boro game.
Lads, the arguing about the geographical boundaries or my town is better than your town is just a bit sad and is the kind of shite our neighbours would argue about.

Haven't been in a long time but when I lived in Cheshire a few years ago I ended up getting the train to a game at your new soulless bowl, and getting off the train and leaving the station my words were... what the fuck is this.

Used to be soulless. Less so now. Certainly not quiet.

You could try it...
If you knew your history, you'd know we've chased owners out before. We didn't resort to throwing tennis balls or blowing whistles when the opposition had the ball. We did it outside, right by the directors entrances, to the point they knew they weren't welcome anymore and sold up and fucked off.

We've been fortunate for 20 odd years of having stable ownership and not had to go back to that... but don't think we didn't.

Key point is... it was kept off the pitch and we didn't look like scrubbers doing it.
