Slightly off topic, but does anyone know the weeks the blades usually jet off for their pre season jolly?

Trying to get organised with leave...

Second or third week in July normally, depending on season start date.

Expect third week if still in Championship as start is week later than recently. PL will be probably start a week later so maybe even last week in July if we’re promoted.

Usually start of July when transfer window officially opens (most signings in May and June are usually accompanied with a *to be completed July 1st) and players have come back from their holidays.

Players on international duty in tournaments (like with the Euros last summer) usually get an extra week off.

You'll only find out 24 hours before we jet off where the team is going.

Can't be doing with our scum following the team abroad 😉

You want them to dictate your summer holiday just to watch a few shite friendly matches?

Sorry but I cant agree. Personally, I was having some work issues during the summer of 2023 so in July of that year, I took some time away from the workplace to watch the Blades play a friendly in Estoril, Lisbon.

I took my car on the Plymouth to Santander ferry, drove down through Spain & Portugal, stayed four nights in lovely Estoril, watched the game with a couple of hundred Blades, then drove back up to Santander for an amazing couple of nights in a brilliant city. Ferry back to Portsmouth and home to Sheffield.

Madness? Possibly but it did me the world of good and was a fantastic experience. Shite? Not a chance, in fact, it was one of the best things I've ever done in my life.

Very predictable seeing other clubs announce trips like this around this time of year. While the relevant people within the club sit with their finger up their arse dreaming about chesterfield and Rotherham away.

New York mid July .. but which one ??
🇺🇸 or Rep of SY ??

Harrogate Town , Huddersfield and Hallam FC ...why would you leave Yarksha .

bit risky of leeds booking fixture this if theyve still a chance of meeting Super Frank Lampards Coventry in the play offs, and theyll be better dampening the fire sale of players again

Hope the new owners get their act together for a pre season tour with new players already in squad (and manager if they intend changing). We can’t afford the recent feck ups.
Players need bonding and match time and supporters will follow. Last good one we went to we did well that season, was great meeting fellow blades in good mood, good company and good surroundings.

I'm still hoping for the George Baldock charity game vs Panathainakos.....gerrit sorted Blades!!
Being the sad act I am....I've already made contact with a yt content creator called Antony Mortal who is one of the best fan culture content creators out there (I highly recommend folks check out his YT vlogs). He's an AEK Athens fan but has promised to give us loads of useful info if/when we travel to Athens for the game.
