Just a thread to say cheers to Rooks for the coaches. They didn't mess about with the stops (20 mins at Newport Pagnell and everyone on our coach was back in 15 mins) and got straight down there for 5pm which was ample time for some tea and a drink.

I've seen elsewhere that some people got left behind on other coaches, but clear instructions were given on ours that they would wait 30 minutes after full time and if you weren't back, tough. There were also Fulham stewards on the road pointing you in the right direction of your coach, which was parked 15 minutes away from the ground, at most... so I'd hazard a guess that there was little excuse.

No messing on the way back either. We were straight home and pulled up on Cherry Street at 2am. It would have been a very grim drive in a car on the way back up the M1 in that weather.

Its' a bit like the Tower of London isn't it? - Bramall Lane, I mean.

It was a grim drive, got wet through walking back to Putney Bridge, needed a couple of coffee breaks en-route, home for 3-15am. Well worth it though.

I'm posting sleep-deprived!
No sympathy from here! Some of us woke at 445 am to watch the game on a shit VPN connection and with itv4 commentary!

Because of extra time I then got straight up and went to work

Cheers Rooks mate,

Don't know a single person who has a bad word to say about him. Absolute legend and long term servant to the club through thick and thin. Will go out of his way to help fans as well. Nothing but respect for the bloke.

It was quite fun listening to the suicidal Fulham fans on Talk Shite and then my eldest daughter going though all the comments on her twitter time line when we scored..

We parked on someone's drive on Stevenage Road just 5 minutes walk from the away turnstiles. Straight out before the coaches left and an empty M1 on the way home. Tucked up in bed before 1.30am after watching the last 5 minutes of extra time on Sky plus

Just need to try and get a refund on my Gillingham train tickets now

Our coach wasn't as impressive, dropped us outsite on a 5 minute walk from the ground, telling us they'll be there at full time, we went back their only to find coach 18, 19 and 21 had been moved to high street, which was 15minutes away from where we was dropped, piss wet through by the time we got their.

Good day out though, brilliant gesture with free travel!
