I thought the first 10 minutes we were pants. Since then we have got better and better. Some great bits of passing have nearly got us there.

Aside from first 10 mins (which we survived...just!), I thought we controlled the game pretty well. I'm biased obviously but some of the owls players are definitely league 1 standard, with heavy touches and misplaced passes.

Gutted we couldn't convert one of the half chances

Passing out from the back always terrified me, especially Choudhury who's just a bit too languid, but it has led to several breaks through their midfield. Conflicted!

Poor half. They dominated us for the first 10/15 minutes where we looked all over the shop. We played our way back into it but it's far too scrappy. We need to dominate the middle and get a grip on the game. Not sure we have the players to do it though. There were questions about Brewster's selection and not sure what he's meant to be doing. Given the way we tire and the state of the pitch, I worry if we're level after say 70 minutes.

Not sure Brewster has been as bad as all that. Not been brilliant but not terrible. Glad Femi seems to have recovered after a torrid first 15mins. Hamza is OK at what he's done, just doing it in completely the wrong place. JLT and Anel need to push him on.

I'd be tempted to mix it up a bit, get jtl to look like he's gonna launch one ..then give it short to a player to whip into their box

It's the classic tactic of "hoping something drops" instead of actually trying to make things happen

Yeah, they're not really pressing the CBs so plenty time there, then when they've tried to press out wide we've got a few nice attacks going like you said. Risk and reward...
