You’ll be cursing yourself then as if we lose tomorrow
They will still need to win 2 more than us if that happens. They drop far too many points to keep the pressure on.

As ive stated on another thread somewhere - i`m cool about now and end of season as i want us to beat Weds at Wembley for promotion . Probably one of the only times i might see Utd lift any sort of trophy at Wembley at my time of life - and to do it against Weds would be the cherry on top . So , 1st / 2nd / 3rd ? bring them all on - enjoy the ride all.
the way wednesday are going they might still end up in a relegation battle even before tonights defeat there was zero chance of them getting top 6 shit defence cant score and 2 more injuries tonight will be difficult but if our top players turn up we will beat them at the sty pig fans already getting twitchy about facing us utb ftp ⚔️

With Hamer out carrying an injury, it simply means that we have to rely on our newly found strength in Squad depth!

Let the football gods sort it!

Sunderland v Sheff Utd Playoff Final.
said it after we lost to them at sol that i didnt think we had seen the last of sunderland and think that could well be the play off final pigs gave them plenty of problems last night so apart from our disastrous play off record dont think we would have anything to fear a footnote to last night all pig fans going on about empty seats at lane at the end of leeds game need to eat their words after all those empty blue seats at the end last night they were only 1 - 2 down

It's only going to be either us or Burnley that get the 2nd auto spot - Sunderland are out of this race. We have to be at least 4 points in front of Burnley going into our fixture against them on the 21st of April - if we are, the pressure will be off of us. If not and we lose that game then it's the play offs for us.

Looking at the remaining fixtures of both clubs, where are we going to get those 4 points from considering that they have an 'easier' run in than us? (IMO)

Squeaky bum time indeed !

Fuck off, just fuck off…

Stating the obvious, we just need to match Burnley for points until the end of the season and we are up.
Really need Burnley to slip up on a few games.

Absolutely

IMHO I think the top 2 will be your lot and Leeds. You've both been top 2 for months now and I think Burnley will falter with one too many 0 v 0's.

Sunderland are out of it although a minority of our fans blow with the wind - automatics are on when we win, then its despondency and play offs when we lose. We haven't been top 2 since we made that really good start to the season and still need 9 points probably to ensure the play offs.

didnt think we played very well last night although and given I thought we might lose to your nearest and dearest I was delighted when we came out on top. We love conceding daft goals mind and that might be our achilles heel in the play offs - if and when we get there.

I'll probably watch your game today at QPR.

Good win today for United.

It’s tiring chasing, no margin for error.

On one hand it’s an incredible defensive record. But on the other it must be quite demoralising to still find yourself 5 behind second.

Yes they have a game in hand. Yes they still have to play us. But they need to make up the points.

All United can do is keep winning and keep the pressure on.

Our match against them is talked as a showdown decider but there are enough points on offer to be on 97 when we face them next!

We just have to take each game at a time like this one and accumulate points.

Yeah, we'll need someone to sell our tickets for us because only the 28,000 with loyalty points will be able to go, unless there's another 12,000 people out there who don't mind going to London and sitting on their own all day

It's a shame that characters like you go at all
Hope you're not at Wembley, could do with as many strong personality there as possible

With our ticketing policy whoever we play is likely to be given extra tickets as a result. Nothing to do with loyalty or Blabeyness just our stupidity that other clubs seem able to avoid.

3 home games in next 4 and a very winnable away game coming up if we take minimum of 10 points we will take some catching

Preston are next up!

At home and Preston not going to go down and are not making the play offs, but Hecky will still want to impress and get a win here. We have a real chance of still being in front of Burnley and drawing level with Leeds on Saturday.

11 more to go !

I’m talking Preston v Hull or Oxford v Blackburn type fixtures. It’s hard work to watch as a neutral. A lot of our games this season have been attritional and dull unless you have a vested interest in the outcome.
My own personal strategy is that I only ever watch matches that I have a vested interest in. And I don't gamble so I haven't seen a Premier League game all season. I did watch a Queens Park game (I think) because I was visiting my folks. The prospect of Arsenal v Liverpool is largely dull for me regardless of the quality of football on offer. If something outstanding happens, it'll pop up on a facebook clip or something.

On a slightly side note, is it just me or are Preston the dullest club in the league. Just so boring
