Outgoing? Ryan Óne

With the arrival of Cannon, I’d be pushing to get him out on loan somewhere. Has all the physical traits to be a nuisance, just needs to get playing football somewhere. Rotherham would be a good shout, not too far away from home.

Unless Steve Evans is still there.. guys anti football.

Linked with Ipswich and, bizarrely, Monaco in today's press

The Sport Witness story links to the original in L'Equipe:

Either way, he's contracted to us until 2029 and we don't sell cheap. Not sure Monaco have the money and Ipswich is not a good move given we're likely to swap places with this season's Luton Town.

Everyone has a price but we have developed three similar players in him, Jebbo and Osula. If one goes then we will have no one coming through in the age group.
Beattie is too young.
Can see us keeping him for at least another season to see how things develop, hopefully our new owners provide us with the option to do more sensible moves in the market than having to sell to pay overheads

I wouldn't sell him unless it was daft money. Loan him out until the summer. In front of him we have:

Campbell
Cannon
Moore
Brewster
BBD

RO could turn out to be a real baller just like Seriki is going to do.

On a similar theme, I think Seriki is going to be highly sort after this summer. His power, pace and skill is ready made for the Premier League. Vultures will already be circling :(

Add Juve and RB Salzberg too if you believe it https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.c...us-are-monitoring-sheffield-uniteds-ryan-one/

I am not sure if he is a fan of a club or not or has a particular affiliation other than the Scotland link. I think the French clubs are getting tied up in the rumour because of his Dad and up to now Ryan has only got up to U19s level for Scotland so they are probably eying him up for the French market. Every player has a price and it is up to someone to try us, we don't need to sell but we also don't need to be stupid. if a club offered us say £15mill + add ons then for me its a no brainer sell. He probably do well at a club like Salzberg or Monaco but if Liverpool are interested and they aren't put off by the price tag they may purchase and look to ship him out on loan to one of the "interested clubs"

Juve interested in one of our youth prospects? That went well last time.... :D

Id prefer to keep the lad, but if the seriously big offers come in then....

Would want United to see serious dollars being offered before they even contemplated selling.

What do the fans call big $, 20, 30m?

Loan him out. Actually use the systems in place for our own benefit for once.

What if he flops? Worth nowt, be reporting Stockport, Rochdale and Sheffield Wednesday interested.

We’ve got to take our opportunities when we can until we grow into an established club int PL

With the length of contract id invite an auction if we were to sell, keep playing bids off against each other until we receive an over inflated price that we are happy with

Based on Osalah no
Agreed on that, especially in January although he is down the pecking order at BDTBL. January should always bring extra £ - 15-20mill maybe will test the board though, not being that guy (I want to be him so bad but not cool enough according to the kids) what if he gets an injury and turns into Brewster 2.0, if there is a reasonable bid on the table that could be invested into next seasons squad then yes. Personally if he goes to Liverpool, he will likely end up at a Championship club on loan anyway if not in Jan in the summer or maybe they try him at Ipswich hence their rumours.

We must keep One. We do t need to sell unless we don't get promoted and then that's possibly a different matter. We've already had to sell Osula, Lankshear and Jebbo and we don't want to lose another promising striker because these are the players that cost silly money in the future.

He needs to stay here

We should not be loaning him out

He could be our first choice CF by the end of the season

He's the only aerial threat we've got there other than Moore and who knows how many games Moore will miss

Oné should be out on loan trying to get consistent first team football, I get the idea about selling for the right money like we did with Osula but there are a few flaws in that argument.

Osula is 2/3 years older and has played more minutes at senior level, especially last season where he was playing against top premier league players, some decent performances in there that were only let down by decision making and poor finishing.

Oné by comparison has barely played senior football but arguably has more potential, he would need more time to develop at a bigger club, Osula has played for Newcastle this season and I really doubt Oné would get anywhere near a match day squad for any of the linked teams.

What has he done that makes you think he'll be our first choice striker? (Over Moore, Campbell, Cannon, Brewster, BBD)
