I love Wilder but tonight he’s very lucky that the game wasn’t beyond reach by half-time. All he’s done is put better players on & played them in their actual positions. Maybe would have saved Gus a yellow & a few fans’ palpitations had he done that after 30 mins.
So he changed it at HT, won us the game.

Tactically inept by Wilder unless mccallum is on the bench injured I just don’t understand RND at LB and burrows in MF. Brooks is running the wide line better than Lino and we’re not using him plus he gets no help from agilchrist going forwards.
What yer talking about yer w@nker, he turned it round second half

Not a good first half for the BLADES, but better second when Wilder changed it round, 3 pts to take us back to top of the league

We aren’t entitled to win any match. Still an incredibly stretched squad and a great 3 points. Not sure what he will do on Friday. I wonder if O’Hare could do a job at home in centre mid if Souza remains out?

Well we escape with another win when not playing very well.

Well done to Brewster for the important first goal and Tyrese for being smarter than yogi bear to get the pen and Burrows for sticking it away.
Burrows is the stalwart of this team. Luckily he never gets injured !

Brooks and RND have played their way out of the team. Gilchrist should be worried for his shirt too.

Proved again tonight that Hamer needs to be central. We'll do without him now for a couple but hopefully we get Souza and Davies back. Few signings and a few back and we'll be flying.

Subs came on today and gave us a lift. They looked hungry and it helped the other players still on the pitch. Brewster looked much better with Campbell but Femi provided that spark from put wide what was missing first half.

Hamer was more effective in the 2nd half back in the middle and we looked more balanced

Team for Friday
Cooper
Seriki Anel Robbo Burrows
Peck McCallum
Brewster O’Hare Brooks/Rak-Sak/Diaz
Campbell

Good to get the win, hard fought but we got the job done...pleased for Brewster to bag one,and we will get better with the new signings and players back from injury.
