That’s 90 mins I’m not getting back. Other than being 90 minutes older now I couldn’t give a flying fuck

Yeah that’s probably why we’ve not been battered

Beat Norwich next weekend and no one will give two shits about this result
I will. Not one of us will ever see us win the PL but we might win a FA Cup, but we won't with the kind of attitude we show towards the competition.

Football shd be about winning things not just trying to boost the bank balance
in the PL

Owners need to get the wallet out

One/Brewster can't be our options up front if we want promotion.

Whoever gave RND a new contract in the summer is daft, was an awful game, but it was his mistake as the 'senior player" which lost us the game. And now he's injured again.

Glad I stopped watching after their goal, no way we were scoring never mind winning that

MOM tonight the post it stopped Burrows shot and saved us from having to sit through another 30 mins. Dreadful game. Our inability to get past a 5 man defence was lamentable. Constant passing back and sideways. No one brave enough to go down the line. Having said that everyone with a left foot was playing on the right and vice versa. Credit to Blacker and Baptiste on their debuts the rest very poor.

Plus tonight no first team starter was injured otherwise it was a game we seemed determined to lose.

Thought he was pretty good to be honest. Quite complimentary about the Lane and his time here. Pretty impartial, done his research and seemed quite knowledgable. Heads and shoulders above the likes of Don Goodman.
Boring me to death talking about attendance every 2 minutes.

Glad we're out for sure.

Thought Baptiste and Burrows were the only ones above a 4/10.

Gilchrist and Brooks probably the worst of the bunch. Some truly awful performances tonight.

Davies and RND absolutely woeful for the goal.

We need some bodies in urgently.
Davies not much could do? It's a 1v1, he's not a world class keeper. Always been a no2 for a reason. Not much to blame, shouldn't have got there was a disgrace from RND.

What planet are you on that you think we have any chance this season of lifting the FA cup. Past seasons yeah I agree, but the squad is paper thin as is, and promotion is obviously the goal this season.

We can start taking the cup seriously when we have the finances/squad to do so ;)

Brewster is a fox in the box type player who needs crosses to run onto … we don’t play this way.

Brookes likes picking it up and running at players with trickery… the worst possible thing you could do with an inverted winger is play it deep into the corner (it means he has to beat a man with no space for tricks to even start moving forwards).

RNDs game was based on fitness and a yard of pace… now he’s lost both and really exposed as a centre back.

All three of these are truly obvious (plus others like Marsh’s really bad first touch meaning he plays it out of feet every time, even when hemmed in and touch tight) and yet we design a formation based on square pegs in round holes. I get the injuries and the lack of care factor, but sometimes Wilder’s basic choices seem to exacerbate and emphasise weaknesses. It’s very strange.

I'm disappointed in some of our fans attitudes treating this cup like a non-event while bumming getting to PL so bad.

I'm disappointed in it will be 101+ years now (we were probably not going to win it this year regardless). But this match was treated as if it was some mid-season friendly and not a competitive fixture. The club really should have got the fans excited for the FA Cup this season, especially against Cardiff (the team we last beat in an FA Cup Final) but no. The FA Cup magic has gone, Football is a walking zombie.

He was. Still a wanker tho 🤣🤣

McCallum was awful. First touch, passing and defending. What really annoyed me was the way he was laughing and smiling whilst showing no urgency or apparent desire to win. As others have said, no respect shown to those fans, who paid hard earned cash in bad weather, to watch that

Awful angles, watch it back pal.
Undoubtedly RND was dreadful, but a keeper is supposed to still make it as difficult as possible. Davies pretty much gave him half the net to roll it into.

If Wilder doesn’t give a shit about Cup games then pull out of the Cup beforehand. Why should fans pay hard earned money to watch turgid crap like tonight? It’s not the first time with him.
The fans attending have no excuse at this point

If Wilder has another few seasons here, by the last one the cup attendance will be down to 2,000 so he'll have as little as possible to feel guilty about

It was effectively a reserve game and was advertised as such ahead of time. Anyone who decided to go knew what they were getting.

We played on Saturday and looked absolutely knackered then. It was 100% correct to play the kids tonight. It's not just about prioritising the league - it's also about not risking the threadbare squad any more than we already have.

Because you can't "pull out" of the FA Cup and with as many injuries we have any manager would be stupid to play anything like a full team.
ps - attendance isn't compulsory so you can keep your hard earned money if you want to 🙂

why should they have got us excited about it this season, look at the state of the squad ffs

The priority is obviously promotion and with our lack of squad depth how do you expect us to manage both at the same time
