Young man. You are becoming a minor irritant. I've forgotten more about football that you will ever know. Either show some respect or there will be no further dialogue between us.
Ooof!! (not hoof).

No wonder the FA cup has lost it's appeal! Not a single side below championship in that lot. There would've been nothing better than seeing sides 2-3 leagues apart matching each other.

5-6 years ago that Man U v Swansea game would've been interesting... Now it's yet more dull premier league football.

Kidderminster and Peterborough would've been better. Harriers tore Newport apart last round

A huge amount of credit to Villa for those ticket prices. £15 adult is more than reasonable for a 3rd round tie against a premiership team, will give a good few blades fans an added chance of going down there now after an expensive christmas too.

Kudos to SUFC as well for not making the qualification criteria stupidly complicated.

ST memberships etc on Monday
General sale on Thursday

There might just be some left for the likes of me on Thursday :D

My buddy wants to gamble on the first lot all selling so we can sit on the lower tier which are to be allocated after the North Stand upper sells out but i'm not too bothered so I will be down on sale day as usual.

Don't mind Villa park to be honest as the place is largish but still has an old fashioned ground feel about it.

Fair enough. I think the sinking feeling must have been caused by Fulham being out of trouble by that win (when obviously one wouldn't have expected them to beat Liverpool had the latter not fielded a weakened side).

It must have also been the WHU result. Had they lost they would have been 3 points behind us , with one game left and facing their final game at Man Utd. We would have had 2 games left and (if WHU had lost by 1) a 9 goal better goal difference. Surely even we couldn't have been relegated from that position...

Yes, it must have been the West Ham game, as defeat would have virtually relegated them. I watched the whole of that game too. Wigan's performance was almost as pathetic as ours was. And of course the difference between the two teams was Tevez.

Having seen the Wigan-West Ham game in full, relegation was even more of a stomach punch beacuse if Wigan had played as well against West Ham as they did against us we'd both have been safe.

Its always been a bit giddy outside ,both at the Villa and the Lane .

Not the greatest draw for us, a hard match away from home.
Well hopefully we can take a lot down their and give it a good go, a win would be a massive confidence boost.

This will be another Reading-esque score, from last season in the FA cup. We'll get absolutely battered. Villa might be a poor to average Peremiership team, but they will tear us apart. Benteke and Agbonlohor will be way too strong for Collins and Maguire and will punish the tiniest mistakes. We'll have all on keeping this one respectable.

I'll be there for this one regardless. It's much more about the day out, than the footy though. Seems like a great opportunity to drink a skinful off ale and finish off with a ruby, with some football sandwhiched inbetween. Not been to Villa Park before, so the new stadium appeal helps.
