Tanganga

Would be a very natural and good fit at RCB for us. If he's available permanently, and for free then for me this is a no brainer. An upgrade on Holgate. He's a strong defender, quick too and decent enough on the ball without being too flashy. Played RB for Spurs initially when he broke through

🎶 watch your wife he's got a big wanga, oh Tanganga he'll go and banga 🎶

His options will be championship only I'd imagine and if he wants to join a top championship club then Luton are the only one near London that could fit that description, so he might have to move north, to the other side of the planet far far away

After the success of the ABBA chant for MGW, it would give us the option of another classic......

"He plays in the red and whiiite, the pigs are shiiite, Tanganga."

For that reason, it's a yes from me. 👍🏻

Released by Spurs, on loan at Millwall last season. Would be a good signing on a free imo
Yes if we are skint and Wilder in charge.

No if we have new owners and some money to rebuild in better hands than Wilder

Isn't that Esse meant to be the one some prem teams are watching?

Missed the boat in the summer on this one. I was surprised at the time that no top club in the league picked him up considering he was free and had already proven last season to be a very sound defender in this league. He certainly has the athleticism to make the step up to the Premier League. In hindsight, he could've been a pre-planned replacement for when Anel eventually leaves. I expect he'll be on our radar if (or when 🫣) we go up.

Strange one, as much as I like Souttar, this lad on a free would’ve been a better option long term.

Looked very good last night

He was 25 at the start of this season, and had only played 45 league games. Madness for someone good enough to play for England U21s?

Making a broader point - there must be a fair few players that fit this profile. Been a Premier League club since their youth, never got much of a look in but player representative football for under aged national teams. There profiles will be quite low but they are worth seeking out. That has to be a market we take very seriously

More than once last night Jack Robinson and Tanganga had tussles whenever Millwall had a corner or a free kick and both were spoken to by the ref. Peck got involved too near the end and wound Tanganga up. If Tanganga signs for us in the summer will we see a photo of him and Robinson shaking hands at Shirecliffe like when there was no love lost between Denis Law and Ian Ure at the Man U v Arsenal match in 1967 but they shook hands at the Cliff training ground when Ure moved to Man U in Summer 1969?

I thought the lad who came on in the second half on the left for them looked very good. Tore us apart every time he got the ball it seemed.
AIDOMO EMAKHU

Yeah I liked the look of him too, from what they were saying he is out of favour after a sending off against Preston but looked like what we needed on that side. Could all change when Harris leaves?

Is it just me who thought he was nothing special? Managed to get free on a couple of corners, but I didn't think he was particularly impressive. Just a reasonable defender in a mid-table Championship side. Our below average performance helped to make him look better too.

I thought similar so I’ve done a quick ‘Roy’s view from’ of their forum and they seem to have him down as a speed boat no driver.

Maybe we could train the driver into him. It’s a shame we didn’t get the lad from P’boro.

Back on topic though I’d take Tanganga. Looks far too good for Millwall. Presume he signed their to regain confidence & regular football after he was dropped from Spurs
