What a good idea!

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?


I've seen it on the site before... earlier on in the year for slightly older players I think.
 
Anyone else having trouble reading the thread title in anything other than a sarcastic inner voice?
 
I never go on the OS. Badly laid out, half of it is inaccessible, and the first thing you see is an ad.
 
I don't live in Sheffield so when I saw this article on the OS I thought what a good idea this was.

Have the club ever advertised for young players in this way before?

Yes, they have and other clubs do the same. I think it is when a club thinks that a particular age group do not have enough players that stand out, then they advertise for trials. I do know of some managers from Junior division A clubs sort of tell their players that going to trials at Academies are a waste of time
