Mr Clough needs to aquire at least 2 players on loan by the closing of the transfer window to see us through the xmas period until we can buy in January.
Not many of this squad will be here come August next year.
Most of these players should be ashamed of their performances....crap!!
God knows what the prince makes of it??

I agree we need players in, the problem is though:

1. We have a bloated, overpaid squad. So Cloughs first priority is to be weeding out the likes of Howard, Westlake, Williams, Flynn, Murphy and King over the next 6 months.

2. The Prince hasn't promised us a bottomless pit of cash, so even if we were in a position to sign players it wouldn't be signings where transfer fees are relatively high. We're going to have to wheel and deal.

The key for this club is getting players out and making a few clever signings, not rushing into throwing the baby out with the bath water.

The last two results are positive

Whatever they are like in training they have had plenty of time to show the new management team in match play - truth is they are rubbish !
I'm not sure there are enough idiots out in the football world that would take the likes of Williams, Westlake, Howard, Flynn, King etc - The Blades seemed to have cornered the market when it comes to signing dross!!

4 points every 2 games , its what we want , hes getting blood out of stones

We / Clough are not getting 4 points every 2 games. We lost at home to Gillingham and away to Shrewsbury - two of the poorest teams in the league - before winning at Bristol City. So 4 points in 4 games - and a point a game from now on would probably see us relegated. We need to improve not maintain current unacceptable levels. Not blaming Clough - although I think he is a little too negative - though not as negative as Weir - the players are to blame - and the Board for allowing us to get in this mess by selling every decent player we've had and replacing them with poorer quality.

All of those (except Murphy) are out of contract in seven months anyway along with about 9 others.
I think Clough just needs to try and offload or loan out the deadest of the dead wood in January (e.g. Williams, Westlake, Bunn, McGinty, Johns) so he can sign enough good players to keep us up.
Then have a massive overall and rebuilding operation in July 14.

In 7 months time we will be relegated unless the Prince puts his hand in his pocket. We need to sign players in January no matter what. No one is going to come in for the shit we have and you may as well send the loans back because they are shit as well. However, our biggest problem is who will come and play for us? If I were a footballer and wanted a career out of the game I would steer well clear of SUFC.
