I suspect it's the club that people find annoying and not the fans.
We've entered the territory previously occupied by teams like West Brom, Norwich & Sunderland.
We're yo-yo-ing between the Champ and Prem. We're no longer the breath of fresh air we were in 2019. We don't have the funds available to give the Prem a proper go. We get our arses handed to us most weeks in the Prem, but are too strong for the majority of teams in the Champ. And recently, we've been punished for breaking transfer rules.
I can see why people would find us annoying.
I don't agree with this view. I think the current squad is young, strong and has the potential (with some smart recruitment) to improve to the point of establishing ourselves as a mid-level Premier League team.
But I can understand why the fans of other teams wouldn't be too excited about us rocking up in the Premier League again next season after we stunk the place out last year.
