A thing of great beauty and a joy to watch !

The first time ball to his feet from Hamer brought back memories of the likes of Jimmy Hagan and TC , and the way he took it in his stride and coolly rounded the goalkeeper to slot it home were absolutely first class .

What a signing !!

We don’t often seem to score goals where we get in behind their defence, definitely a disappearing art form in the game of sideways and backwards passes until the perfect opportunity presents itself.

A huge credit needs to go to Wilder (& backroom staff) on managing Campbell back to fitness.

This strategy of giving the lads a 'mini pre-season' and gradually introducing them through U21s football, through to cameos, through to starts, seems to really work.

Hopefully we reap the rewards with Tom Davies, as we really need him to come good over the Xmas period.

Second and third goals last night were classy well crafted goals. Against a poor defence but still good to see
I thought that. Great team goals. First was a standard goal but I love that both OHare and Campbell were there waiting for it. Good work from both of them. Second was wonderful first time touches from Gus and Campbell and the third was wonderful. Back heel, little swizzle from JRS, I think he also did well with the finish because from the slow mo it looked like he wanted to place the ball left and had to change last second. I'm unsure if it was an attempt to trick the keeper and was always going bottom right or if he had to change based on keepers position but either way, nice to see team goals from us.

Campbells on fire at the moment he simply needs to start Friday

On this showing, he could end up on par with Didzy and Fleck in terms of best free signings we've made
it seems like didzy dejavu. a guy released as they thought he was no good at a lower club & he has flourished at a bigger club

is it 6 out of 7 now. all the talk about of moore. how does he get back in

I think both players were valued at their clubs to an extent, but injuries had stalled their careers too long and the clubs thought it was time to cut their losses.

I think the goal per minute stat is quite deceiving because it's not like he's the type of striker that's constantly involved in the game, a goal per touch stat would be interesting to see

From the angle behind the goal it absolutely looked like he either sent the keeper the wrong way or waited for him to go.

Made the finish look a little awkward - but with no possibility of the keeper getting to it.

I also like the first one,2 players instincts to get to the driven ball across the 6 yard line, positive thoughts, don’t see that kind of goal a lot nowadays .

Reminded me of Deane, Agana, Duffy, Fjortoft, Keith Edwards and Sal Bibbo all in one. Halcyon days watching from the back of the Kop after being conceived 4 hours before on Shoreham street.

One of my bete noirs about modern football is that no one goes round the keeper any more so I loved it.

Seem to have learnt their lesson from rushing Joc back.

He seems to be something we have needed for a few seasons now , A striker that scores goals ,it has been along wait for someone to take Billies place ,someone who scores regular , If he keeps this up Wilder has played a blinder signing him along with a few more gems for little cash . Now lets hope who ever owns the club in Jan backs the man .
