Many of us are not exactly delighted if Lampard becomes our next manager. All we can do as supporters is back what we are given and hope for the best. We have some good players already. Hopefully he will have the contacts to bring in a few decent loans. We're light in midfield and have an owner who doesn't like using the loan market though.

Well that sounds a bit of an inconvenience but is it not down to the club to have replacements lined up if a player is out of contract and there's the possibility they will be gone very soon. And surely hamer "took the money" equally by looking for a prem move but gets clapped for it?

I don't get it when most fan bases (including our own) boo ex players tbh, at the end of the day they're professionals and have no loyalty or feelings towards the club the same way the fans do. So unless a player has been unproffessional/unsportsmanlike in refusing to train/play or not putting a proper shift in I don't see what fans have to be angry about.

Both would have stayed with us no doubt if we beat Luton. We'd have kept both although only Hamer is good enough for the Prem.

If we went back and looked at the actual facts of the match, we were 2-1 up with 11 men, you managed to get a draw with 11 v 10 for 45 mins. As Wilder said after the game, if it stayed 11 v 11 we’d have won.
