Brandy has definite potential but has not produced it yet and was stupid to react as he did.I was really excited about him after his performance against Atromitos, but he has not carried that through, frustratingly!

Just seen it. My sympathy disappeared after his second roll over on the ground, even before he raised his hands.

Absolutely, it's a bit of a piss take to react angrily after you've blatantly dived and the person you've fitted up understandably tells you what he thinks! All part of the Febian Brandy Travelling Theatre Show, I suppose?

Porter is wank. You don't see him ( have I got that wrong, how many times have you seen him?).

My avatar is a joke, as is the suggestion that Chris Porter isn't a very poor player.

Perhaps I show the same favoritism as 4th division Chesterfield who even dropped him from the bench after seeing what was on offer.

Your right, your Avatar is a joke. Problem is the jokes on us because we are paying him. I have seen Porter enough to have an opinion on him and thats enough. He is no world beater but watching King (I have seen him too) I know I would prefer to give Porter a role up front with someone like Miller when he comes back than that lazy thug King.

King is a tosser who's been a good footballer. Porter has always been shite. Those are facts and are all but indisputable. We (or at lest some of us) can hope King rediscovers some form. You can dream, if you like, that Porter will find some talent.

The avatar was written to get up the nose of those who'd rather measure the halo's of our players as we sink to the depths.

It works, it seems.;)

Yep, having now seen it, Brandy dived and the defender told him so. I got sick of Kitson diving last season.

The first one was a foul on Brandy which the ref should have given but Brandy needs to grow up.

What is the rule? If a hand touches an opposition's face, it's a straight red?
If it is a push to an opponent's face (Brandy did that), it is a straight red. If it is a playful slap like Eric Morecambe did to Ernie Wise then it isnt a yellow card if the ref sees it that way!

If it's deemed that it was in an aggressive manner, yes. In that situation it was a striaght red.

There's going down easily, and there's diving. He's a massive culprit of the latter from what I've seen of him. If he used as much energy trying to stay on his feet then he could be a really good player. He's actually quite strong and has good balance so I don't know why he doesn't use it instead of chucking himself to the ground at EVERY opportunity.

It's infuriating to see him get into a good position and then try to win a free kick rather than put a cross in or have a dig.

How times have changed....was watching Blades v Pigs 1980 at Lane,1-1 draw and Gipo Curran slapped Kenworthy in the face then stamped on his foot when both standing with ref and not even a yellow! :)

Didn't look like a foul to me. Brandy took a dive trying to win a free kick and my guess is the defender politely told him so.
Not sure if you're being a little harsh on Brandy.

Watching the game live, and also watching the highlights, it appears to me that Brandy was fouled initially, but his first reaction was to get back to his feet and keep playing. As he tries to get to his feet he gets a push from the Shrewsbury defender and ends up back on the deck. More often than not, both incidents would have resulted in a free kick.

And both players raise their hands into each other's face, not just Brandy!

The second 'push' was a truly embarrassing and pathetic act of throwing himself to the floor after extremely minimal contact. If I had my way he should have been sent off for that. Diving bastard.

I actually think the red in that context is a little harsh. A little shove like that is never going to hurt anyone and I'm not sure it could even be considered as agressive, but thems the rules at the end of the day so no complaints. He's certainly a plank for resorting to it.

He is keeping rather quiet about it on his Twatter account.
