I think he probably is still 2nd choice left back - he was off the bench instead of McCallum last night. McCallum I think is going to be utilised on the left of midfield to shut up that side (similar to what Sir Ben of Osborn used to do)...I think if (god forbid) Burrows picked up a knock, RND would be called upon firstOn the contrary he needs as much game time as possible IMO. He appears to be 3rd in line at the moment behind Burrows and McCallum so I would rather have a fit and firing RND piling on the pressure. I'm sure the player and the medical staff no how hard he can push things so doubt his call-up wouldn't have been given due consideration.
