Had a right whine and moan according to Twitter after the game everything from our players, his players, the ref.

And apparently he thinks Sheffield United are a poor side... Well that might be correct Mickey and mainly down to us still trying to recover from your disastrous reign.

Mickey YOU are a very poor manager who lumbered us with some of the shitest players in our history, I will make a prediction now that Port Vale will be in the relegation dog fight as well before Xmas.

His lot were the scuffling shambles we saw him produce at BDTBL.

But he is right - we are poor. :)

Micky Adams United were much more watchable than David Weir's. He had some bad luck and made some bad decisions, but he's an infinitely better manager than 6% Davey.

The shambles we are now is everything to do with David Weir, and nothing to do with Adams.

I'm glad that we stuffed his team today though, and it should have been by a lot more.

He shouldn't be slagging us off. Not his place. He can moan about his players, the ref, the weather but he shouldn't slag off the opposition. Very poor showing from him.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Ale House Micky for signing Neil Collins and Michael Doyle...

According to Alan Biggs, Adams said that we're a poor side and whoever comes in will have a very hard job on their hands.

It might require two additional people to answer the phones rather than just the one set of extra hands Adams needed.

True didn't Adams need to call in Bassett for help?

Compared to his band of thugs ?

Pin it on the dressing room wall.

Do us a favour Ale House, pack it in.

I,m happy to have a bet with Micky twat head that we will finish above them.

The biggest embarrassment is that he professes to be a Blade.

He's the sort that, if there were only the 2 of you in a room full of pigs, you wouldn't acknowledge him.

Not surprised he's a bit sore after losing to the Blades given his disappointing reign as manager and also because we have been struggling of late. That makes it even worse.

Always find it baffling that someone would focus on the inadequacies of a team that has just beaten theirs but perhaps he wanted to deflect attention away from his own camp. Especially after the embarrassing altercation on the touchline during a first half substitution.

its everything to do with adams, though ironically, two of the worst players he saddled us with scored a goal a piece today

Port Vale came today to get in the faces of our (previously meek) players and nullify any raised spirit and roused atmosphere. Some of their thuggery was disgusting and I genuinely believe a Chris Morgan side met the challenge better then a David Weir side could have. However it back fired and were lucky to finish the game with 9 players because that fat, murdering, sexual assaulting tramp deserved to do another stretch for ABH on Doyle, Collins and Maguire.

Yes the stupid alcoholic cretin getting bassett to answer calls..looks a right idiot in white trainers on the touchline..he is the initial cause of us being in div 3, remember that...

In my own personal opinion I think Micky's bad tactics backfired on him today. I think he looked at our youngish squad on paper and sent his team out to lean on us a bit and rough us up to take us off our game plan and force errors but all it did was cause a man to be sent off early doors and yes the referee wasn't the best but I think he saw right through what Port Vale were trying to do niggling at us so every bit of contact he blew for.

We were nowt special today granted but we edged them thats for sure regardless of the man advantage and if we finish in the relegation zone I reckon it would be above them could May. I don't know how they pulled some of the results off that they have of late they are nothing special!

Micky Adams took 13 games to get his first win for us..
In his first 12 league games he drew four and lost eight, giving him four points.
David Weir in 10 league games, had one win and two draws and lost seven giving him five points..

Amazes me how everyone blames Adams when the conductor of the mess was McCabe. Adams was just a porn in the game. Wrong man in the wrong place if you like.

I hate Adams more than Blackwell. I am pretty sure half the south stand was telling their number 9 to nut him. I know I did,

Only one winner there mate! Mickey can go a bit (fist wise), believe me!
Did you cheer the (I hate) Michael Doyle goal? ;)

Can't agree, alco. It's a succession of bad management appointments, of whom Weir was simply the latest (and most egregious). That's the legacy that's got us into this shit. (Talking of legacies, 18.5k crowd yesterday is surely a legacy from the Warnock reign. When he came in, we were down to 8k.)

That was obviously their game-plan and you're quite right, a Weir side would have crumbled. Hughes (aka 'that fat, murdering, sexual assaulting tramp':D) played, I consider, a massively effective role. His aggression and bullying effectively negated the fact they were down to ten men. He was even winding Brandy up before the game kicked off. Full marks to Maguire for not only a superb performance, but maturity and strength in seeing Hughes off.

So yes, Hughes is a nauseous cunt but he played his role brilliantly and you could see Adams' reaction when he was finally relieved of his duties on 65 minutes - 'Well done, lad!'
