No signings

Maybe smoke and mirrors but if it is the case I'm not surprised. I thought it'd take 5 windows to get to a point where we're strong enough for Auto's AND deep enough to sustain PL existence. Sounds daft I know, but I'd prefer a couple of years in the Champ. developing an identity, playing style and fitting quality players into a squad that knows what it's doing to another couple of yo-yo years. Journey is better than the destination an' all that.

Seems like Wilder and his pals in the recruitment team are not on the same page as who ever owns the fucking club

Unbelievable on here, American owners that don't own the club yet getting it in the neck, selective memories that have convienety forgotten O'Hare, Souttar, Burrows, McCallum and Raki ect. FFS grow a pair.
The American owners are now in charge of transfer dealings.

You seem to have conviniently forgotten the 18 players we have lost this summer.

Our squad is poor for our ambitions and it is obvious we are currently 3-4 players short

Hopefully this is just him bluffing.

We are crying out for a striker.

Moore doesn't look like a suitable first choice striker for anything more than a mid-table club (time for that to change, but first impressions aren't great).
One in three so far, and a decent career history?

No signings would be inexcusable

Surprise surprise, our unrealistic demands for Anel and Souza seem to have bitten us on the arse. Not that we should have needed to sell them in order to at least sign a couple of fucking loans....

If it stays as it is, we'll be miles off the pace in January

Worrying indications about the new owners too

well seems to me its either that weve no intentions of going back up or the new consortium thats coming in dont want him to have any money to spend

I'm just going on how he's played in those three games.
1 in 3 would be a decent return if sustained over the season of course, but it's his all round game I'm referring to,

The ball has just been bouncing off of him, really poor hold up play for a man his size (expected him to be a lot more commanding in the air too) and seems to be too slow/ponderous with his passing (common theme across the majority of the squad to be fair).

There's been a few times now we've been on for breaks and they broke down as soon as he got involved.

God help us then if that is the case great way to endear themselves to the fans and show that they aren't like the parasites that have gone before them that completely rinsed our club.

But he's had a very good career in that position. We shouldn't be reading too much into three games given that. Based on that logic I'd be thinking Hamer was crap too.

Does he know something we don't?

I dont know anything but just use some plain logic.

If you were an investment company buying a club what would you do?

Option A
Invest very little, not challenge for promotion and gradually lose more and more money every year.
I've even seen some Blades say someone wants to take us over to put us in league 1.
So they seriously think someone is taking us over because they want to lose millions and millions every single year.

Option B
Invest money, give them a great/ realistic chance of promotion, bring in the PL millions
then either sell up at a profit or keep investing to enable the club to remain in the Premier league.

I know it's a difficult choice but if I was an investor I'd go for option B.
Hence why it's common sense the club will be very confident more players (especially a striker) are coming in.
Also they will have been prepared weeks ago that Cannon might not happen, so they'll have 2 or 3 more striker options as backup up.

Aye
You’re l’logic’ is irrefutable
Whinge about “no signings”
Ignore the 10 recruits
Whinge about not flogging 2 (cheaply enough)

Aristotle’s legacy is clearly under threat
