Feels like we've tried to take the best parts of what Burnley, Bournemouth, Leicester (a few years back) have done and adapt it to suit what fits.

Yes and we ain’t seen nothing yet, they have always wanted a successful premier league club. Onwards and upwardsWe seem to have cranked this up since Abdullah got control. We have gone from the assets will come out of PL money to spending £22m on Berge and now we have plenty of cash in the summer for both the assets and transfers. My question is who's funding this apart Abdullah? I was under the impression his personal monies did not stretch this far? Have the house of Saud started to play?
Am I right in saying Wilder said "I'm not just here for a year or two" ??
10:05 mark
I do think many of our fans on here can empathize with that viewpoint, and while it is well founded, its now firmly in the past. The club support has all too recent memories of selling quality players, and doing it just to keep the club solvent. No matter how many times I read or hear stuff about united I still cannot believe it, I still feel like something bad is going to happen and we will all be saying, well it was fun while it lasted.
So many positives to draw from the interview, some of my personal favourites:
- We have a firm wage structure to ensure harmony amongst the squad.
- A new building is being built at shirecliffe in order for us to compete with other PL teams.
- Wilder implies he's here for the long term.
- Both he and Bettis continue to operate in a shrewd fashion, as if the money was their own - mentioned the word 'legacy'
- The scouting is heavily based in statistics and the use of video analysis, ensuring we don't need hundreds of scouts across the globe.
- The club will continue to make signings like the Berge one: potential assets to the club who have plenty of years left in them and potential resale value
- There is plenty of money to strengthen the team in the summer, even with the obligation to purchase the properties.
- Contract talks are going to ramp up now a hectic January is over. Players to be rewarded for their efforts
- Both Wilder and Bettis feel they are trusted by the board an PA to make the right decisions regarding recruitment. They also imply they trust the board and PA in return.
What a time to be a blade.
According to sufc site you supposed to be able to access the blades player app by searching for FLi player in App Store then accessing the specific SUFC page. My Apple App Store does not have FLi player.
Any ideas how I can access the blades player?
Is it the full interview? I’ve noticed that the BBC interviews seem to be shortened the. Went in bladesplayer and realised that they have the full length interviews, that said I don’t see this on there
You have to subscribe to see it on there anyway.expand...

No, not Mike Allen. This man was well tanned and smooth shavenCould be Mike Allen Head of Recruitment? He’s got short dark hair
Interesting presumably then it’s someone linked to Taylor/the new owners as there’s not really any other United personnel you’d expect to be watching a game alongside Taylor, Bettis and Schieber. No, not Mike Allen. This man was well tanned and smooth shaven
